--Venti pov--*CONTINUATION*
Xiao was choking me to death, is he serious?! He's acting all aggressive! This isn't him at all!
"X- Xiao... you're c- choking m- me..." Xiao didn't stop, he only kept his grip tight
"X- Xiao... s- stop it..." the attack on my neck, choking me made my hand feel numb, he was also pinning one of my hands to the ground, he's heavy...
I tried wriggling my wrist out of his hand and thank God it worked, I reach out to his cheek slowly.
"X- Xiao... w- wake up... please..." good thing that I can breathe for a while, was he trying to control himself?
I managed to say the words that I managed to say to him... did they implant some kind of chip inside him. My neck started feeling numb even if it's only been 3 minutes...
I can only breathe a little... but not that much... if only he wakes up...
--Xiao pov--
"X- Xiao... w- wake up... please..." When I heard those words, I quickly pulled away.
No... Did I do this to him...? Venti passed out because I choked him... why... why do I hurt people around me...
It hurts... it hurts so bad to see people around me getting hurt... I'm not innocent... I'm a murderer... just like what happened to them...
Dispatched yet I waited... I waited for them to come back but they didn't... I shook Venti a little trying to wake him up.
But he didn't wake up so I went near his chest to feel his heartbeat, he's alive... I carried him to the bed to make his position a bit good to never hurt his back.
Good... I went outside to breathe a bit of fresh air, the winds rustling and hitting me softly in the face made me calm down a bit.
I sulked outside to never remember what I did to Venti just now made me regret why I checked it...
"Xiao?" I know that voice... "Venti?" I don't wanna hurt-
"I know that Xiao... you don't want to hurt me..." Venti closed our gap hugging me.
"Venti what are you-"
"You're hurt Xiao, I don't want you to get hurt. I don't want you to leave. Never..." Venti's voice was soft and delicate, he had always been like this but this one is... different...
"Venti, look, I'm sorry... I did that to you because of me." My voice is low, Venti knew what I was thinking at this point.
"It wasn't your fault! It wasn't! It's theirs! Not yours... please... don't leave me in the dark again..." Venti sobbed quietly on m chest, his heavy breathing made me think things through.
"Venti..."
"Just don't leave me..." I slowly caressed Venti's hair, "I won't... if leaving you is my choice, I know that you'll be lonely."
Venti's sobs were almost coming to a halt, this means he's starting to calm down.
"They tried to kill me, Xiao, that's why they used something that made you go insane and start attacking me."
"So that's how it is... it's unacceptable, at the same time, unbelievable, my theory must be correct then."
"Theory?"
"Why would they let me target you instead of your scientist or mother?"

We made our way inside making sure no one is here listening, Venti explained what he knew about the Fatui, and i listened carefully to what I know.
I also shared what I believed in the Fatui and their ideals and we tried piecing things together until Venti got bored.
"Remember something you can recommend about the books?"
"What books?"
" 'The 7 archons with 7 ideals?' Or the '5 Yaksha's and the Adepti?' "
"Uh... where is this going exactly, Venti?"
"Nah, just bored, I wanna read something."
"I got nothing to recommend."
"You're so boring Xiao~ atleast recommend me something please~" Venti was trying his hardest to make me recommend something to him since he was bored.
I just gave up and recommended some stories that were or that are to his liking and it did work...
Venti started reading stories online and it feels like Venti has a weird amusement...
He also bought some books that he can read and all of it are my recommended stories.
"Um... Venti...?"
"Yeah? Is there something wrong?"
"Where did you get all this money to buy so much books that I recommended?"
"I'm just bored, Xiao, I got nothing to do but read when I was a child so this became a habit of mine."
"Okay? Um... have fun I guess..." I want to pinch his cheeks so hard...
"You know so much about the archons don't you?"

"Your cheeks are so chubby, I wanna squishing 'em."
"Xiao! Don't you dare..."
After he said that I started pinching his cheeks, they look so cute on his face...

I pulled out from my position and he just started rubbing his cheeks that he even whined about how it hurts.

"I won't I won't." Venti gave me a glare making sure I wasn't lying or not but I did lie, I wanna pinch it more.
I giggled at his face trying to hold back my laughter, "Hey! What are you laughing at?! I'll just pinch your cheeks too!" He started attacking my cheeks and man he pinched so hard!
My cheeks started getting red from his pinching. "That hurts Venti..."
"Hehehehehe"
"I'll stop pinching you while you won't pinch me too."
"That's a deal then!"
"Don't break it."
"I won't." We started giggling do much it made me tired. I guess I'll rest for a little while...

I posted this at almost 11 pm cuz I was celebrating my birthday and I was so busy making me rush this, manifesting for no bad spelling.
I finished "Subject" in my notebook for xv fic sooo now I gotta transfer it.
Fun fact: the Doctor literally planted a chip on Xiao's brain, weird right?
