Varian POV
I honestly don't know what caused me to share my past with Hunter but, I definitely feel a lot better. That criminal part of my life always seems so embarrassing and I don't think that deep down, I have forgiven myself for it but, every time I share it with someone, I feel a bit better. The only person that I have actually shared it with is Hugo. I honestly felt a big similarity between me and Hunter too, which is why I felt so comfortable with him. It's like we're spiritual twins, with everything we have in common.

Willow POV
Rapunzel called everyone into her room because she had an announcement to make.

"Okay, I know that all of you are still adjusting to all the changes recently but, I wanted to share with you all a Coronan tradition!" Rapunzel started.

"You all came just in time for the sacred tradition that has been followed for over 500 years... the Goodwill Festival!" Me and my friends looked... well, less excited than Rapunzel and the others looked, that's for sure.

"What is the Goodwill Festival?" Amity asked.

"Well I'm so glad you asked, Amity!" Rapunzel said really enthusiastically.

"At the Goodwill Festival, there are lots of celebrations and there is a gopher grab!"
"What's a gopher ?" I heard Hunter whisper to Gus. Gus shrugged his shoulders and whispered

"I think it's some kind of weird animal that humans think are cute." They saw Rapunzel looking over at them and they quickly stood back straight and gave her an embarrassed smile.

"Okay... so, The best part of the goodwill gopher grab is that you can do it in partners!" Everyone looked a little easier after Rapunzel said that. I felt a lot more excited about that but I could tell that Gus was really stoked about that.

"Do we get to choose our partners?" Gus said excitedly.

"Well no, but I'm really glad you asked! We will pick names with this!" She pulled a blanket off a huge machine. It looked crazy with a bunch of tubes, simple machines and buttons but, most surprisingly there was something standing on a wheel. It was some type of... creature I think? It basically looked like a brown blob that was on a wheel next to a bowl of some type of purple berries.

"Couldn't we have just pulled names out of a hat?" Amity added.

"Oh but this is!" Rapunzel said proudly.

"I call it the Hora Tory Automated team builder or, the H.A.T." While Rapunzel answered Amity's question, I noticed Eugene's jaw dropped.

"Gregorio the gopher is still alive!?" Eugene screamed. Cassandra seemed to recognize the gopher now too. Varian and Lance also looked like they remembered something. I nudged Hunter and he jumped so startled that he almost fell over. When he saw me, I noticed that he was blushing.

"Oh sorry Hunter! I just wanted to tell you that- that's a gopher!" I whispered with a super awkward laugh. I was probably blushing hard too.

"No p-problem," He whispered back with a nervous laugh. "t-thanks for telling me"

"Yup!" I whispered super awkwardly. At the start of our little conversation, everyone else was just talking about that gopher and all but now, I noticed that everyone in the room was staring at me and me and Hunter as we're blushing like crazy and whispering super awkwardly. Wow, us witches are just so great at not getting into awkward situations and have great social skills.

"Oh sorry," me and Hunter say in unison. We look at each other and we decide that I can do the apology, to not be any more awkward.

"Sorry, we were just having a side conversation. You can continue" I say with an embarrassed laugh.

"No problem at all!" Rapunzel says happily. Thank goodness that everyone else just went back to talking normally after.

"I remember the H.A.T from when we searched for the lost treasure of Herz de Sonne!" Lance said.

"Yeah me too!" Varian added. Hugo looked at Varian really confused.

"Goggles, what's all this talk about these gophers and Hertz di something? Everyone else including me was also really confused, wondering the same thing.

Varian started "Basically, a while back, probably many years ago, a lot of people in Corona did thi-

"Ok!" Rapunzel cut in. Everyone's head moved dramatically from Varian and Hugo to Rapunzel.

"Sorry Varian but, we're getting a bit sidetracked!" She said with a nervous laugh.

"Oh, no problem Raps, I'll tell you later Hugo" Varian said. Hugo nodded

"Thanks again Varian! Now, we can start making our teams!" Rapunzel announced. Everyone actually sounded pretty happy about that.

Rapunzel POV:

I spun the lever of the H.A.T. which brought up a bowl of purple berries, that caused the gopher to run. Then there was a bunch of spinning, bells ringing and hammers whacking. Finally, there were two gumball looking balls that went down the twirly tubes and into these fake little hands that handed the balls with our names on it to me.

"The first team will be... Hugo and Nuru!" I said.

"NOOOOOO" Hugo whined. "Not Nuru!!!! She is going to be soooooo annoying!"

"Oh, I'm going to be annoying? You won't even do any of the work and you'll leave it to me!" Nuru said, complaining. Now Nuru and Hugo were screaming in each other's faces.

"Really?! Cause I think I'm sooooo much more intellige- " Hugo was cut off by Varian pulling them apart.

"Guys!" Varian screamed. "Stop this, you're acting like children!"

"It's all good," I laughed. "The next team will be... Cass and Amity!" She read from the balls.

"Yay!" Amity said, high fiving Cass. I smiled when I saw Cass' reaction, she looked so surprised when Amity high fived her and was so exited.

"And, next is... Gus and Yong!!" I said

"Yussss, let's win this..." Yong and Gus said in unison, back to back and with the same confident face. It was hard not to laugh with their expression!

"Now, it's Luz and... Varian!" I said. They just looked at each other and smiled awkwardly.

"Okay, next... ooh, Lance and Eugene!" I said, surprised.

"Yesssss," they both said, as they fist bumped each other excitedly. "kids, step aside cause me and Lance together, we're gonna win this!" Eugene said boastfully.

"You know it buddy!" Lance responded.

"Haha. Finally it's... Hunter and Willow!" I said

"Yay!" Willow said squeezing Hunter in a side hug. I noticed Hunter madly blushing when she did that. "heheheh" Hunter replied shyly.

"And done, that's all the teams!" I said kinda relieved.

"Blondie, who are you doing the Gopher Grab with?" Eugene asked.

"Oh I'm going to do it with Monty again. It's basically tradition to do it with him now, since I do that every year!" I replied.

"Okay everyone, the Gopher Grab and Goodwill festival will be tomorrow." I said.
