Cass pov:
Raps had the immediate idea to go see Varian! While me, Raps and Eugene rode Fidella and Max to Old Corona, Raps subtly said "Varian isn't the only one who went on an adventure the last few years.
"He also got a boyfriend named Hugo" she said with a smirk. After a while, we made it to Old Corona
We were all standing at the door of his basement, guessing that he was there. We knocked and the door opened leading with pink mysterious fog, giving me déjà vu. The fog started to disappear then the alchemist came running sort of coughing out fog. He looked up and when he saw me, his eyes lit up and he ran to hug me and said
"Cass!" I thought that it was so sweet and Varian has grown so much! He has almost out grown me!
He led us into his alchemy lab (his basement) and there stood three unfamiliar faces.
"These are Nuru, Hugo and Yong!" Varian said excitedly.
Just as Varian said that, a green beaker blew up into Hugo's face and Ruddiger and Olivia, right after that a firework blew up into Yong and then Nuru came in helping him as another one blew up. " It's kinda chaotic in here all the time" Varian said with a nervous laugh. Cass and Raps exchanged a look then laughed.
Raps suggested that Varian, Hugo, Nuru and Yong can stay over to the castle with Cass for a bit.
