I've hoped and lost,
loved and lost,
Hoped and Loved again and again,
But,
I lost.

You, my dear,
Knew what a mess I'd become,
But In your unique ways,
when I wasn't looking,
you gathered every broken piece,
every shattered hope and dream,
You stitched them,
And mended every little piece,
Made them beautiful because that's what you wanted them to be.

I was afraid to fall for you,
But you fed me honey,
Awakened every lost hope,
and filled me with love,
Quintessential, I can call it.

Little do I know what you were doing to me,
Killing me with what you know won't last,

Yet again,
I've hoped, loved, and lost...
