My only sunshine.
You made me acknowledge
what sweetness is by simply
cheering me with your
conducive unconditional love.
You make me realize what
true love is,
That It isn't toxic but safe
and harmless,
For it soothes the heart,
and quenches the thirsty.
You're mild,
and your tender
touch on my soul
feels nurturing,
which made love benevolent.
