LOST

On my feet, I stand,
In the street of nowhere,
I bath in confusion,
And gaze upon the unknown.
Am I lost or not?

My brain, stuck in overdrive.
And now,
I can hear voices,
I can see and feel things that no one could,
Am I lost or not?

My body feels;
A scorching sun shows me not what hotness entails,
Almost covered up I was,
Well I am.
I can feel the sweat dripping; From atop my head to my ends,
Am I lost or not?

My breath is captured in a startled gasp,
My chest palpitates with a frightening roar,
My veins pulsate rapidly.
Am I lost or not?

Amid this scene of bewilderment,
I can feel nothing and
I can't even fathom a reason.
Now tell me, am I lost?
