If anyone had been as crazy as to back talk a prince, it would be you. No one in the world was more annoying than Cecil Aijima, Prince of Agnapolis. Your friend, Nanami Haruka, had told you a bit about him, like how he joined STARISH, and that he was afraid of water and fish. Personally, you thought it was hilarious, but everyone has their fears.

"(Y/N)-senpai? Are you alright?" your kohai asked waving her hand in front of your face.

"Huh? Oh, yeah I am, I just zoned out for a bit." you answered.

"You know, you've been doing that a lot lately. Are you sure you are alright? We can stop playing if you want." she offered. You smiled softly at her.

"She's so sweet. I'm glad I got her as my kohai, or else I wouldn't have asked to play a game with her."

Looking at the set of cards in your hand, you thought long and hard about your next move.

"Hmm, Tohru, do you have any Queens?" you asked. She looked down at her cards and sighed.

"Why are you so good at this Senpai, I was going to ask you that next." You giggled and took the three cards from her hand, making a book for you to put down, along with all of your other ones.

"It looks like you win (Y/N)-senpai, however, I will defeat you in the next round!" she claimed with determination.

"Alright, game on!"

Just as you were about to set up, your door suddenly flew open.

"(Y/N)-CHAN!!" Cecil yelled very loudly. Tohru was just as surprised as you were, making the cards fly everywhere.

"(Y/N)-chan, lets go on a picnic together!" he exclaimed. Tohru laughed and started to pick up the cards. You started to help her out, but the prince pulled on your arm.

"What? I'm not going on a picnic it's 9:30 at night! Go on one with the fish!"

"WHAT?! WHERE?!" he yelled hugging you, tightly.

"Oh yeah, fear of fish..."

"Not in here dummy, what I'm saying is that I don't want to go." Cecil looked into your eyes for a few seconds before smiling widely.

"It'll be fun, come on!" He said dragging you away.

"Hey, don't yoh know it's rude bot to ask others opinions? Tohru, help me out! Please?" you asked. She smiled and waved goodbye at the two of you.

"Have fun!"

"WHAT!?" you yelled. Before long, you just gave up and let Cecil drag you along.

"We've been walking for a while now, where exactly is he taking me?"

Before you knew it, he dragged you all the way to the forest outside where a beautiful lake had engulfed you vision of the scene. It was amazing. The moonlight of the full moon and reflected off of the water, crystallizing it.

"Wow, how'd you find this place?" you asked walking forward. A rock, however, was in your path, causing you to trip over it.

"Ah, (Y/N)-chan!" Cecil said. He had caught you in his arms and lifted you up bridal style.

"Wh-what? Cecil, I can walk by myself, you can out me down." you protested in embarrassment.

"No, you almost tripped and you could've gotten hurt, I don't want that to happen."

Your face had been brushed with pink after that comment. Even though he was sometimes annoying, the Prince of Agnapolis could be sweet and kind.

He took you down to the edge of the lake where you noticed a light green blanket with some candles and food placed neatly on top of it. It made your heart flutter in a way you couldn't necessarily explain.

Placing you gently down, he sat next to you and opened the small woven basket.

"Here." Cecil said, pulling out a small box with a big bow in you favorite color.

You slowly took the gift out of his hand and began to unwrap it carefully.

"I wonder what it is... It's not my birthday today, or a special holiday. Why would he just give me a present? Does it have any special meaning to it?"

Those thoughts ran through your mind as you got closer to revealing what was kept away inside the box. Finally, you opened the lid, showing a gorgeous necklace shining in the light of the moon. It was a small silver heart with rhinestones embellished into it. You turned it over, seeing that there was a date and two words on it.

May 19th
Cecil Aijima

"Cecil, it's beautiful, but, what does the date mean?" you asked, still mesmerized by it. He laughed softly and moved closer to you.

"That's the day we met," he started, "I can remember every detail about it so clearly. I was on my way back from a park that I found really nice, the. I bumped into you, kno-"

"Knocking all of my books and papers on the ground." you finished.

"I remember too. That was a few years ago though. How do you remember something like that?"

Cecil smiled and looked up at the moon.

"Because of what happened after that. I helped you pick your things up, and when we finally looked at each other, I saw how pretty you were, and I fell in love with you at that moment." he confessed.

Your eyes widened and you could feel your heart start to beat faster.

"Fell in...love...with me?"

"When I found out that you were going to be a senpai for a student at the Master Course, I immediately went over to your kohai and asked her what you name was. I'm glad I did too."

You couldn't believe what you were hearing. When you two met officially, he was clingy and, well, annoying to you, but when you got to know him, you soon realized that he was a nice guy.

"I guess my heart is telling the truth to me now, about what I feel towards him."

"(Y/N)," he said, dropping the 'chan', "will you be willing, to become my princess?" he asked looking straight into your eyes.

Taking a deep breath, you nodded.

"Yes, Cecil Aijima. And, I love you too."
