The sun was already setting when a little pink boy and his dad were out to get themselves something to eat
They were at the frie-shop and Steven slammed his hand on the counter
Steven: Gimme the-!
Peedee, the boy who worked there, immediately slid over a bag full of the bits since it was obvious Steven wanted those
Steven: oh! Thanks!
Peedee: eh, I saw you coming
Greg: are you closing today?
Peedee: yup. I'm alone today
Greg: wow that's a lot of responsibility for such a young boy! Your father has a lot of faith in you.
They paid for the food and walked away
Steven: bye peedee! So, as I said, Peridot is throwing these big robots from space at us and when you hit them, they fall apart!
Greg: sounds scary. You know, I want to ask you, do you think this whole gem- situation is too much for you?
Steven: what do you m-?
Something made a loud boom and the ground beneath them started to shake
Windows in the whole town broke into pieces
Greg: oh gosh what was that?! Steven?
A big green hand was in the sky, pointing towards beach city
Steven: is that... A giant hand?!
He started running towards the crystal gems who were stand just a few meters away
Pearl: the light canons should be in place...
Steven: Guys! Are you seeing this?!
Pearl: it's a ship. We think it's peridot
Garnet: lapis said she would come with advanced weapons and other gems
Greg: it's really happening...
Steven: I wanna look!
He looked through the telescope that the Cristal gems had placed on the beach
Steven: whoa!
Garnet: ready the light canons!
Pearl pulled a lever and amethyst rolled another canon to the beach house
Garnet: activate them rose!
Rose: if every pork chop was perfect, we wouldn't have hotdogs!
The canons lit up and fired
They simply vanished when hitting the ship
Garnet: didn't do anything...
Greg: what now?
Garnet: We'll have to take them head on. The whole town might be in danger.
Steven: I better make a call. Time for some... political favors
Steven takes out his phone and calls mayor Dewey
Meanwhile, Dewey is being a coward (as always) and hiding behind a curtain while picking up his phone
Dewey: h-hello?
Steven: Mayor Dewey! It's me, Steven Universe!
Dewey: Universe, what's this thing in the sky? As a politician, pointing fingers make me very nervous.
Dewey covered the windows with the curtains he had been hiding under
Steven: Mayor Dewey, the whole town's in danger. We have to evacuate the city.
