- Emmeline's Pov -
After breakfast, i have a shower and get dressed (outfit above), then go downstairs ready to have my daily check-up from Narcissa. Everyone is going to be here time for the check-up because they are all worried about the baby after what happened at the trial. Snape practically begged me to have the check-up when i was eating breakfast, which set Draco off asking me to have a check-up, too. Narcissa, on the other hand, kept telling them that the baby is strong and wouldn't be hurt by what happened, but they wouldn't listen to her at all. It was frustrating that they wouldn't listen, yet i couldn't blame them for being worried about the baby because they are protective over me and the baby especially Snape since he lost me all those years ago. Draco is worried because this is his baby as well, and he doesn't want his baby to be harmed in any way, and his protective instincts must still be on a high after the trial. I understand completely, and that's why i'm having this check-up to ease their concerns since i know that once they see the parchment and read that everything is okay, they will calm down. I just hope that everything truly is okay with the baby because if there is something wrong, everyone will end up going back to the ministry to have words with the minister.
I'm brought out my thoughts when Draco suddenly picks me up bridle style and walks over to the couch where he lays me down, putting a cushion under my head. That's when i finally see all my family standing behind the couch, making sure there is enough distance between them and the couch. They all give me big smiles, and some of them even give me thumbs up, which makes me giggle at them because we all know who would give me thumbs up right now. After a couple minutes of fussing, Draco steps back only for Narcissa to step forward and start her chanting with her hands over my stomach. I close my eyes and say a quick prayer to merlin that my baby will be okay because i don't know what i would do if my baby is hurt they are the only thing in this would i would gladly kill for. I feel a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach, which makes me open my eyes to look at Narcissa because i can't remember feeling like this the last time she checked me over. Just as i look at her, she drops her hands beside the waist, and a parchment appears out of nowhere as per usual, but this time it looks bigger, and that makes me start to panic because why would it be bigger?. I see Narcissa hand the parchment to Draco who is now standing next to Snape and i watch them read it together only for their eyes to go wide the further they read.
"What is it? Is our baby okay?" I asked worriedly
"Our baby is perfectly fine, my flower." Draco said with a big smile
"T-Then why have you both got wide eyes." I asked, tilting my head
"Our baby is growing quicker than expected but is very healthy." He said softly
"As long as their healthy, i don't mind a shorter pregnancy." I said, nodding my head
"It won't be much shorter, dear." Narcissa said with a smile
"Cissa also didn't block us from seeing the gender which was noticeable due to the fast growth." Snape said, looking at the parchment wide-eyed
"Already!? B-But it's too soon to find out." I said in shock
"It's not too soon, sweetheart. Witch pregnancies are a little fast it depends on how much magic the child has running through their veins." Molly said softly
"Your mother is right, princess." Arthur said, smiling at me
"It just means the baby has a lot of magic." Narcissa said softly
"We have a lot of stuff to buy and a lit of stuff to do." I said, sitting up on the couch
"We will work together to get everything done and brought. You just sit back and relax, Flower." Draco said, pointing at me
"But -"
"It will be safer for you and the baby, especially with the news going around about Potter. Some people are targeting anyone they think accused Potter of crimes they think he is innocent of." Snape said, taking his eyes off the parchment
"It's dangerous out there now, emmy." George said worriedly
"I don't want any of you getting hurt." I said with tears in my eyes
"We won't. Narcissa, Draco, and I will stay here with you while the rest of your family buy any items we will need due to everyone still thinking Potter was like family to them." Snape said as he walked over and sat beside me
"It would be right for us three to stay here since they would target us straight away." Draco said as he sat the other side of me
"Okay, okay. I get it." I said, nodding my head
"Now we need to make a list of things you want, sweetie." Molly said, walking over and standing in front of me
"Anything Yellow and a pale green." Draco said without missing a beat
"For hufflepuff and slytherin?" Ron asked, smirking
"Exactly. We want them to grow up knowing we will be proud of them no matter what house they get put in." He said, smiling at me
"Okay, yellow and pale green. Theme?" Charlie asked curiously
"Animals and Nature." I said straight away, making my family laugh and mutter, of course
"Why did you even ask that question?" Ginny said, then giggled
"You should have known our sister would want that theme." Percy said, smiling
"Hang on, we got ahead of ourselves. What's our baby's gender?" I asked, looking at Draco
"We are having a baby boy. We are having a mini me." He said proudly
"Oh, merlin, have mercy on my soul." I said, throwing my head back
