- Chapter 15: Protect our little badger or snake -

- Emmeline's Pov -

I look down at my flat stomach with tears in my eyes while Draco looks at the parchment in his hands with tears in his own eyes. Narcissa words play over and over in my head without stopping. I'm going to be a mummy, and i can't wait to hold my baby in my arms and never let them go. My life is finally going the way i have always dreamed for it to, and it's all thanks to being Draco's mate. I want to go to Mum and tell her everything so she can be with me and Draci on this journey just like Narcissa will be. The two people im most excited to tell are my triplets, Fred and George, and hang on a minute! What if i'm pregnant with triplets? Triplets are a high possibility since they run in my family, and i am a triplet myself. Either way, i will love my babies with all my heart because they are nothing more than a blessing that i will love and protect with all my life. I know Draco will be one protective and loving father who will do anything to make our kids happy and safe. God help anyone who tries to hurt our babies because they won't just have to deal with me and Draco they will have to deal with my whole family and Narcissa.

Suddenly, Draco literally jumps onto the bed and places his head on my stomach while crying loudly. I look at Narcissa in shock only to see her silently crying with her hand covering her mouth as she looks at Draco. I raise my hand and run my fingers through his silky hair, hoping to calm his crys, but he just cries more. He keeps mumbling how his dreams have come true and how he is going to protect our little badger or snake with his whole life. Hearing him say that makes tears roll down my cheeks because he is literally just the sweetest mate and so to be father. Flora comes closer and rests her head on my stomach next to Dracos and starts whimpering. I place my other hand on her head and run my fingers through her fur, knowing he needs comfort to because she is picking up on my emotions. I jump when my bedroom door is thrown open, only for me to see mum and dad stood there looking ready to kill someone. Why in marlins name are they here? Did i forget they were coming today? Did Draco tell them i was ill?

"Narcissa? What is going on?" Mum said, looking at me worriedly

"I can't way Molly. It's up to Emmeline and Draco to tell you." Narcissa said with tears still streaming down her face

"Draco? Emmeline? What's going on? Are you both okay?" Dad asked with a voice full of concern

"My flower is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad." Draco mumbled into my stomach

"What was that son?" Mum said, making me cry more at the fact she accepted Draco into the family

"I'm pregnant. Me and Draco are going to be parents." I said in between cries.

"Excuse me!" Mum said in shock

"What your mum said." Dad said, looking at me with wide eyes

"I'm pregnant!" I said, throwing my hands up in the air

"We're going to be grandmother's!?" Mum asked, looking at Narcissa

"Yes, we are Molly." She said with tears still rolling down her face

"I'm going to be a grandfather." Dad said only for him to faint and fall to the floor

"Dad!" I cry in shock

"He will be okay sweetheart, this happened every time i told him i was pregnant. He will be awake in a minute." Mum said, waving the situation off like it was nothing

"But -"

"We need to make a list of things she will need during the pregnancy. I will also go to the shops to buy you some maternity clothes." Mum said, cutting me off

"I can make some potions to help with the morning sickness." Draco mumbled into my stomach

"Do i get a say in any of this?" I said, wiping my face

"Nope, you won't be doing anything but resting because you're carrying our baby, and i don't want you getting exhausted." Draco said, now resting his chin in my hip bone

"I know you won't like it, but we need to you have as much rest as possible because not only are you pregnant but you're still healing too." Mum said softly

"But the cafe, i can't not go to the cafe!" I said, panicking

"I can handle everything at the cafe with Fred and George." She said, waving me off

"I can take over cooking our daily meals." Narcissa said softly

"And i will take care of everything else you will need or want." Draco said, then kissed my stomach

I stay quiet, knowing i won't win against Mum or Narcissa because they are in full mother mode right now. They will only do one thing right now, and that's to make sure i'm safe during this pregnancy. I know that Draco will become overprotective once he is out of shock and me being pregnant sinks in. I do think relaxing will be nice for me because everything has been hectic since i opened the cafe and i need some time to myself for a while. I watch Draco lay he head back onto my stomach with a small smile on his face, only for Flora to lick his cheek, which makes me laugh. Narcissa and Mum erupt with laughter while Draco wipes his face with a disgusted look on his face, and i can't help but laugh louder at his face.

"What? Why am i on the floor? Wait, it happened again, didn't it?" Dad said, sitting up from his stop on the floor

"Yes, dear, it happened again. Hopefully, it won't happen again." Mum said after she stopped laughing
