- Emmeline's Pov -
I walk through the front door of my families home with Flora beside me expecting to be knocked on my ass by mum hugging the life out of me because my injury prevented me from seeing them. Only to be surprise by no-one standing at the door to great me like they always used to when i come for my visit, Not even my triplet brother's are waiting for me. I hear laughter coming from the livingroom so i poke my head around and see the reason why no-one has greeted me, there sat on the couch surround by my family is none other then Harry fucking Potter. Just seeing him sat there makes me remember why we stopped being friends, he is the reason i have the scar going down my left arm from my shoulder to my wrist. Flora growls menacingly catching everyone's attention which makes all their eyes turn towards me and in a blink of an eye i'm knocked onto my ass by mum who sobs into my neck. The impact with the floor makes me bite my lip to stop myself from whimpering at the pain that ripples down my right leg that was shattered just a month ago in the war.
"I'm home mama" I said softly wrapping my arms around her
"My baby!" She cries into my shoulder
"Emmeline!" Fred and George yell together as they join me and mum on the floor hugging the life out of me
"Thank merlin your home Emme" Dad said smiling down at me
"Glad to be home dad, that place just was awful" I said smiling up at him
"It was a hospital what did you expect sister" Fred said smirking at me
"I expected a visit from my triplet brother's who would have brought some of their amazing sweets for me" I said pouting up at them
"You know we would have done but mum stopped us" George started
"saying a hospital is no place for our mischief" Fred said finishing George's sentence
"Mummmmmmm" I whined making mum laugh
"Definitely glad your home Emme" She said pulling away from me then standing up
"Hello Emmeline-"
"Shut it Potter, i don't want to hear your voice since this is a family moment" I said cutting Harry off
"Don't talk to my boyfriend like that sister" Ginny said crossing her arms and Flora growled at her loudly making her gulp
"I will talk to him how i like Ginny, he is the reason i nearly lost my arm or have you forgot that. He let his jealousy take over and injured me in a quidditch game all because i have a loving family and he doesn't!" I snapped at her making her shut up instantly
"Settle down children, Emmeline why don't you sit on the couch and rest your leg on the coffee table" Dad said firmly
"Just keep that boy away from me and i might just settle down" I said standing up with alittle stumble
"Be careful-"
"Emmy" George finished Fred's sentence
"I'm being as careful as i can boys, now which fine gentleman is escorting me to the couch" I said smirking
"I will!" Fred, George and Ron said at the same time making me laugh
Fred picks me up bridle style and sits me down on the couch then places my right foot on the coffee table with a sad smile. I know he is blaming himself for what happened and he shouldn't because in no way was any of it his fault. I grab his arm and pull him down onto the couch next to me and cuddle into his side wanting to comfort him. Suddenly i feel someone cuddle into my left side and i know instantly it's George because i only let my triplet brother's and parents hug me.
"Don't blame yourself for-"
"Something that wasn't your fault" I said finishing George's sentence with a small smile
"So hufflepuff what are you doing here instead of your own home?" Harry asked making Flora snarl at him
"I'm here to see my family after being in hospital for a month thanks to the war i fought in to protect your ungrateful ass" I snapped in anger
"Harry" Ginny said looking at him in disbelief as she scooted away from him
"If you can't be nice to our sister-"
"Then you need to leave Harry" Fred said finishing George's sentence looking angry
"Harry, this is Emmeline's childhood home and she can come here anytime she wishes, you don't get a say in the matter. Just like my son's said if your can't be nice to Emmeline then leave" Dad said crossing his arms
"This is more Emmeline's home then it will ever be yours Harry" Mum said looking at him angrily
"But-"
"Don't talk back to my parents, shut your mouth or i will throw you out on your ass. I don't care if your the boy who lived i will kick your ass if you ever disrespect my parent's again" I said through gritted teeth
"Okay, Okay" He said holding his hands up in surrender
"Sister?" Ron asked fiddling with his finger's
"Yes little brother" I said softly
"Are you really okay now?" He asked curiously
"Yes, i just need to stay off my feet as much as possible to help my body with the last bit of healing" I said with a small smile
"We will come and help at the cafe" George said firmly
"So your not on your feet to much" Fred added with a small smile
"But we have plans" Harry said frowning
"Fuck your plans, our sister is more important" George said only to get a smack around the head by mum
"Make sure she spends atleast an hour sat down every couple hours" Dad said firmly
"We will dad" George and Fred said in unison
"Then we need to head there now to get everything ready to open tomorrow" I said excitedly
"Come on then, we will floo there" Fred said just as excitedly
