- Emmeline's Pov -

It's been about seven months since Potters trail, and it's now my due date since my little prince is fast growing because of his magic. Everyone has helped me and Draco get a lot of things done over the months, which helped take some stress off my shoulders. My family did indeed get everything we needed, and thankfully, they didn't get targeted. They were left completely alone except a few people saying how sorry they were that Potter was taken from the family. Let's just say my family had to hold back their laughter when those people were giving them their condolences. No one suspected anything, and it made the situation even more laughable because they all thought my family were wronged by what happened to Potter. Fred and George had the most trouble trying not to laugh because they thought it was just a big prank everyone was pulling on them.

Snape has been helping get the cottage child proof saying that he doesn't want his first grandchild getting hurt anyway that would be prevented. It was funny watching him in his black cloak, muttering about how this cottage is so unsafe for a baby with Flora following his every move. He even banded me from having my knitting box in the living room because it would be dangerous for a baby. It's funny because a newborn baby wouldn't even be able to get into my knitting box, but i let him move it to ease his worries. The only thing i didn't let him move was my book shelves because i wanted them left in the living room where i would be spending most of my time till little prince is born. He didn't protest against that. Instead, he just nodded his head because he knew how much i love to read my books to keep myself calm and relaxed.

Narcissa has been amazing dealing with my cravings and my hormonal self while everyone was busy. She wouldn't let me lift a finger for anything, and i felt bad because i should be helping her not sitting here like a couched potato. I understand their need to want me to relax, but i'm starting to hate not being able to do anything to help anyone. I have done a lot of reading and knitting to keep myself occupied, which has helped with the boredom. Draco has been helping me go through baby name books to find a name, but nothing has caught my eye yet, and we couldn't agree on anything. Narcissa did say everything will fit into place when he is born, and his name will just come naturally when we see his handsome face. I have cried a couple of times thinking our baby will be unnamed, but Draco calmed me down, reassuring me he will have a name as soon as he is born.

Ever since then, i have been spending time just sitting in the nursery, trying to keep myself as relaxed as i possibly can. Especially today, since today is my due date, and our little prince could start making his arrival any time today or the next few days. Draco and Snape have been on a mission all morning to make sure we have every potion needed while Narcissa is calmly reading a magazine like everything is under control. I'm just waiting for all of this to begin because i'm so ready for my baby boy to come into the world, so i can cuddle him and cover his small face in kisses. He is going to be one spoilt little prince when he is born, and i don't think i could stop anyone from spoiling him.

"My dear, i have made your lunch. Do you want to eat it up here or in the living room?" Narcissa asked, walking into the nursery

"The living room, please, Cissa, but can you help me up?" I asked, knowing i won't be able to get up on my own

"Of course, dear. I don't understand why you chose to sit on the floor when you could sit on the rocking chair." She said, helping me up

"I just like sitting on the floor." I said, shrugging my shoulders

"Let's get you downstairs so you can get some food in that tummy of yours." She said, shaking her head

"Are Draco and Pops still rushing around?" I asked as she looped my arm with her

"Yes, they are. Severus is now helping Darco finish the last potions." She said, walking me out of the nursery

"Of course they are." I said, shaking my head

"How many potions do they think we will need." I said amusingly

"A whole bunch, according to a very protective soon to be father and grandfather." She said the laughed

"They are definitely going to be overprotective - Narcissa, what it merlins' name is running down my leg?" I asked, feeling something pop and run down my leg

"Oh Emmeline, that's your waters. You're in labour." She said, smiling

"Excuse me!? I'm in what now!?" I said in shock

"Come on, just a couple more steps, then you can eat something before you're in too much pain to eat." She said, helping me down the stairs

"B-But i can't eat, i have to get everything ready! Oh, merlin, his first outfit is still in the nursery!" I said in panic

"That can wait. I will get Draco to get it while you're eating. He will need something to do other than panic." She said, walking me over to the couch

"Who are we kidding it's Draco he will panic anyway." I said, sitting down on the couch

"That is true, and Severus will panic too." She said amusingly

"Oh, merlin!!" I said as i wrapped my arm around my stomach

"And the contractions have started." She said, sitting beside me

"You don't say." I mumble in pain

"Draco! Severus! It's time. Draco, go to the nursery and get little princes' first outfit. Severus, help me get Emmeline to her bedroom." Narcissa said, taking charge

"Yes, mother!" I heard Draco yell

"Time to have a baby." Snape said as he appeared in the living room
