The frame on the nightstand,
Held memories,
Deeper than Pacific,
But stronger than Diamond.
The frame was square,
But it denoted heart,
Representing a bond,
Built over years,
With trust and love,
It stood proud on the nightstand,
Reminding them of the times,
They stood together,
next to each other.
When their eyes met the ones inside the frame,
A smile tugged their lips,
As their heart swelled remembering the time,
They smiled at the camera,
Oblivious of the future,
They had to live in.
Three rooms,
Three people,
Mumbled goodnight,
To the frame on the nightstand,
Directing towards their best friends,
Before the light was turned off,
As they fell into their dreamland,
Dreaming of the day,
They'll meet each other again.
