Amidst a million gems
You were a Pearl
Still, you chose
to be a gem just because
you were afraid to embrace
Your difference.
In this rat race
to reach the top
everyone wears a mask
to mask their flaws
but at the end
They lose the pearl,
They once were
To be the gems others are
Cause in the end
Flaws made you different.
Amidst a million gems
I might just be stone
But never in a million years
I would trade myself
even for the diamonds
Because all I ever want is to be me.
