I hate to admit

SURPRISE UPDATE!!! 

Because I am too excited to share this poem with you guys!!!

I hate how you live in my mind,

day and night,

I hate to admit my heart flutters,

I hate to admit there are butterflies,

flying in my tummy every time,

I see you smile.

I never knew I was in love,

and I will never admit I am in love

Why? because I hate to admit

I am afraid to commit.

I know you will never love me,

I know you will never see me,

see me as the one for you,

I am just a friend to you,

and I will be just a friend to you.

I hate how my heart yearns for you,

I hate how my heart wants it to be you,

every time my phone lit up 

with a new message for me.

 I realise this is not meant for me,

And I try to teach my heart,

 you are not meant for me,

My brain whispers to my heart "move on",

every time it yearns for you.

I decided to follow my brain,

'cause my heart is stupid,

it decided to beat for someone,

who will never see me the way,

I will see him.

I now look forward to the future,

where my heart will someday,

follow my brain,

where it will stop beating for someone,

who was never destined to be mine.
