CHAPTER TWENTY
"Call Him"
Hogwarts carried a thick darkness. New Professors that Aurora had recognized from Voldemort's inner circle, the Carrow's had begun teaching there. But thankfully for Aurora, with her father as headmaster, they didn't dare lay a finger on her, no matter how snippy her mouth had gotten with them.
During defense against the dark arts, which had now turned just into Dark Arts, Aurora had refused to use the Cruciatus curse on Pansy, her best friend. Pansy refused as well, her and Aurora stood up and went to walk out when Amycus Carrow, grabbed them both by the back of their shirts and threatened them with being shipped out to the Forbidden Forest for detention.
"Send us," Pansy argued. "It'd be much more rewarding than being here."
"Mind your tongue, girl, or I'll take it with my bare hands." Amycus replied. "Or shall I call down Headmaster Snape?"
"Call him." Aurora laughed. "My father would love to hear you threaten me and my friends, don't you agree?"
Amycus nearly looked sick, he swallowed and then pointed to the door. "Go down to his office. Now."
"Gladly." Aurora began to step out behind Pansy, when she turned around and stopped. Staring directly into the eyes of Amycus Carrow.
"What is it you want?" Amycus sighed. Annoyed.
A smile curled onto Aurora's lips. "Just wanted to take a good look at you, in case you end up looking like your friend, what was his name again? Dolohov?"
Carrow's eyed widened and he didn't say a word. But it was in that moment he knew who she was. He knew that she had been there that night in the tower, and she had been the reason why Draco did what he did.
She winked at Carrow. "I'll be sure to tell Draco and my father how your class went today..." She paused and then chuckled, an evil grin on her face. "Professor."
When she met with Pansy again in the corridor, Pansy nearly fainted after hearing the way Aurora had spoken to one of the two Professors that had loved causing paint and torturing student, especially those who were not pure of blood.
Pansy had thought they were truly going to go to Snape's office when Aurora took her up to the seventh level, and she knocked quietly on the wall, feeling for a weak spot.
"What is this? What are you-"
The wall then felt silky and a door appeared, opening for the two girls.
"Welcome," Aurora opened the door, letting Pansy inside. "To the Room of Requirement."
Inside was a large group of students who had also been hiding away from all the drama that had evolved at the school.
Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil, Seamus Finnigan, Neville Longbottom, Gregory Goyle, Vincent Crabbe, Colin Creevey, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood and even Draco Malfoy.
On the wall, was a large portrait of a young girl. She was blonde with beautiful blue eyes that Aurora had sworn she'd seen somewhere before. The girl smiled and waved shyly at her, and Aurora smiled back, nodding to the girl.
Draco jumped up from a table where he, Seamus, Crabbe, and Goyle had been playing cards.
"You alright?" Draco asked as he wrapped his arms around her, rocking her, and kissing her head. "I told you not to go to their class, the less of us who go, the better."
"He wanted me and Pansy to use an unforgivable curse on each other... He wanted us to cause each other pain..." Aurora muttered to him, finally the bravery left her body and she could break down the walls that she had kept up for the first half of the school year.
