CHAPTER TWENTY ONE
"The Battle of Hogwarts."
It wasn't long after that Severus showed up to Malfoy Manor, in a rage and angry that anyone would have laid a single finger onto his daughter.
Severus pinned an already bloodied and bruised Lucius to the wall, demanded answers as to why he touched Aurora. Then he turned to Bellatrix, who's neck was bruised, eyes red, and still was struggling to breath.
"And YOU-" Severus snapped, seeing only red. "You were going to kill my daughter! And for WHAT?"
Bellatrix shrugged and began to smirk. "Fun,"
"FUN?" Severus swiped everything off the table, throwing it all to the floor, he spun the chair Bellatrix had been seated in, and forced her to look him in the eyes while he pointed a finger in her face. "What will be fun for me, is watching you suffer and die, for that."
Bellatrix spat in Severus' face, but he did nothing except stand up straight and walk away.
"Now I know why the Dead Potter called you Snivellus!" Bellatrix mocked Snape.
But Snape merely only grabbed Aurora and Draco and demanded they had their bags packed, that he'd be bringing them back to Hogwarts right away.
And just like that, they were all in Hogsmeade, and were then joined by other Death Eaters, who had their wands pointed and drawn at them. Severus rolled up his sleeve, Draco doing the same and the Death Eaters nodded and let them on their way.
They walked into the Hog's Head Inn, and this was the first time Aurora had stepped foot in there. The man behind the counter was the owner and Aurora jumped back nearly fainting at the sight of him.
"I- I- I was there when you... When you were dead? I saw your body!" Aurora panicked as she looked at the man, whom she believed to be Albus Dumbledore.
The man laughed, as did Severus.
"That's not Dumbledore..." Draco whispered. "Well, it is, but... That's his younger brother, Aberforth."
Aurora released a sigh of relief and then began to giggle. No one had told her who the owner of the Inn had been, it was all new to her.
Aberforth grinned as he polished a cup, then placed it down onto the counter, walking around it to shake hands with Aurora.
"Nice to meet you, girl." He smiled.
"Pleasure to meet you, sir." She replied, returning the same smile. "Any updates on Harry?"
He shook his head. "No, but I've a feeling he'll be coming soon." He winked.
Aurora noticed the portrait that was in the Room of Requirement was also in the Inn, and it was the same girl, smiling, and waving to Aurora.
"Who is she?" Aurora asked. "She's beautiful..."
"Ariana, my kid sister... Died as a young girl, but she'll be with me always." Aberforth replied. "Tunnel is through her portrait, Ariana, go grab the Longbottom boy, tell him to open up for them!"
Ariana nodded and walked down the path in her portrait, something Aurora hadn't seen anything like it before.
"I never knew Dumbledore had such a large family. He never-"
"Talked about us... I know." Aberforth replied. "Private man, that brother of mine."
Severus nodded and rolled his eyes. "And demanding of impossible things."
Aberforth agreed. "I'm still sorry you had been burdened with that, it's hard to argue him and tell him no, but it was what he wanted..."
Severus said nothing as the portrait opened and Neville stood there, his wand lit up, ready to lead them through the hidden passage.
