Am I the only one who hates when your texting or writing a story that's like really embarrassing and the person or people around you sneakily try to see what your writing? It's like omg go away! This is personal, nacho business! Lol, I was writing today at school and this guy who has to be ALL up in my business kept trying to see what I was writing like no dude, go away. Well enjoy the chapter!
Taylor POV
The week flew by and before I knew it it was 6th period Friday and we were in the dance room getting ready.
I was excited because I couldn't wait to perform our dance and the fact that the captains were being revealed.
'Alright girls, head to the gym! Don't forgot your pompons!'
'Ready?' Ebony asks, smiling at me. 'You'll do just fine, trust me.'
'Im not nervous. I'm excited for the dance and finding out who the captain is. And it is Friday night football. My favorite thing to do on a Friday night.'
I wasn't alone at lunch actually. Ebony got a schedule change and now had D lunch and we'd become fast friends.
'Of course, she also loves spending time with her favorite girls too.' Bailee says, hanging her arms over our shoulders. 'I mean who wouldn't like hanging out with us?'
'Me,' Riley mutters walking ahead of us.
'No one invited you anyways. I hope you get it Taylor.'
'Me too,' I say. More than you'll ever know.
We round the corner leading us to the gym and see the football players wearing there jerseys.
I find Drew in the crowd and smile at him. I'd never say this out loud to anyone but when I was with Drew, I forgot about the rest of the world. It was weird. All I could focus on was him and only him. I don't know how I did work in my classes with him; all I wanted to do is talk to him and hear him laugh and have him make me laugh. I couldn't wait to see him in his football pants. God, they showed off every football players butt.
A blush starts to rise on my cheeks and I hide my face. I was checking him out and no one - not even Bailee knew that I was starting to fall for him. Except you. But shh, don't tell a soul.
Everyone was standing around waiting for 6th period to end and the pep rally would begin.
'Oh Taylor, your so fine. Your so fine. You blow my mind. Hey Taylor, hey hey Taylor.' Jaxie yells from across the gym.
This weekend the Varsity captain would be hosting a sleepover or a pool party at her house on Saturday and Jaxie had said she was bringing all the Bring It On movies and we were watching every single one and every time she saw me or Bailee she'd sing the song 'Hey Mickey' and all week long she had done it, no matter where we were.
Could 6th period go any slower?
XXXXXXX
Figures that they'd wait till the very end to announce the captains and even then Abby took her time announcing them.
'Our freshmen captain is Ariel! Our JV captain is Emily. The co-captain of varsity is Bailee Stacy!' Abby pauses. 'And last but not least our 2013 Varsity captain is - drumroll please. Taylor Kingsley. Congratulations girls and remember to come watch us beat the Falcons tonight at La Vernia stadium!'
Bailee smiles at me and I feel a giddy smile on my face that I couldn't wipe off.
Everyone was congratulating me and it felt perfect. I'd always loved this kind of attention.
Until I saw Riley who was as far away as she possibly could be and looked like she was going to cry but everyone knew Riley Sanders doesn't cry.
I pose for a picture with the other captains and leave. We had so many things to get before tomorrow.
XXXXXXXX
'First question you need to ask yourself is: sleepover or pool party? Second: what food do we need for that specific one? Third: will everyone eat this? Four: is there something everyone will at least tolerate on the menu?'
We had left school and headed straight for the store knowing there wasn't anything in our fridge that we could use.
'Easy. Pool party. Hot dogs, burgers, chips, and soda. Pretty sure. Yeah.'
'I'll take the meat. You get the soda and chips.'
We take off in different directions with two buggies in our cheer leading uniforms.
God, I hope tonight and tomorrow went smoothly.

The next day
'Oh my gosh, I love your coverup Ebony. Where'd you get it?'
Ebony smiles at me before turning to Sarah.
My dad was cooking burgers and hot dogs and Bailee had made a salad for anyone who didn't eat meat. So far, so good.
I just hoped it stayed this way.
Austin POV
'Austin, we go back home in 2 weeks so remember to tell the crew. I'm so excited to get back home and see all my friends what about you?' My mom asks, Saturday night while we're eating dinner.
'Can't wait.' I say. And I couldn't. I don't know how I'd last without my friends around me.
Alex told me that Taylor was varsity captain of the Cheerios and Riley was pretty pissed about that.
I just hoped I had a chance to see her cheer before football season ended.
'Guess who added me on my personal Facebook the other day?' My mom asks. 'Taylor Kingsley. She made the cheer leading squad and is captain of the varsity squad and she's having a pool party tonight.'
I wish I was still living next door so I could see her.'
Taylor POV
'Oh my god, Ebony is pregnant!' Riley screeches.
Everything was heading south.
Ebony bursts into tears and collapses onto a beach chair. 'You don't understand.' She says through tears. 'I, I was raped in July and I couldn't abort it. So I kept it. I'm 6 weeks.'
Everyone looks around shocked. I did not see this coming; no one did.
A/N so I'm changing the name of the book and the cover. Hope y'all like it! Any predictions? What do you y'all think is gonna happen next? Comment, vote and share!
