Taylor POV
'Get a move on Taylor!' My younger brother Travis yells, pushing me out of the way. He was 14 almost 15 and still was taller than me and I was 5'8.
I push myself up against the wall and watch the movers bring box after box in.
I was so ready for school to start so I could enjoy the surprise on everyone's face when they found out who the new hot girl was. Me aka Taylor Sophia Kingsley. And Bailee of course.
Next week was registration and my dad told me that we'd have to do it by ourselves since he had to work which was perfect because operation revenge was going to start. And I knew my ex best friends would be there.
I grab a box labeled 'Taylor's and Bailee's clothes' and head upstairs.
'Hey have you seen that cute blue bathing suit I bought before we left? I could've swore I packed it with my carry on bag.' Bailee Stacy calls from behind some boxes.
Our room that we were sharing was the master bedroom and had 2 queen size beds in it.
'I haven't seen it since you bought it. Why do you need it?'
She flings some underwear at me. 'Have you not seen the backyard? Walk out on the balcony.'
I do as she says and my breath is taken away.
The way the backyard was decorated was unlike anything I'd ever seen. It was amazing. The pool was in-ground and there was a little gazebo facing the pool that was decorated with lights and had a very cozy look about it. There was also a garden of flowers surrounding the gazebo.
A little off ways was a white building which I assumed was the pool house because there was a big window with what looked like floaties and pool stuff in it.
'I could get used to this view.' Bailee says behind me. 'Wanna go swimming? I found your suit.'
'Depends. By swimming do you mean tanning or actually swimming?' I ask, walking to the bathroom.
I hear her curse under her breath and chuckle. 'Actually swimming duh.'
I roll my eyes and put my suit on.
What she meant was we get into the water, get a laying device to lay on then tan. She always did this.
'I wanna swim. Not tan. I'm already dark enough.' I call, adjusting my bottoms.
I was a lifeguard at a beach for the first part of summer till I found out I was moving and had to quit.
'You can swim and I'll tan.'
There's a knock at our door and Bailee runs to the closet. 'Its me.' Travis calls through the door. 'Dad said y'all had to go get lunch and I was wondering when you were leaving.'
I sigh and look at the time. 'I'll go get lunch.' I call, dumping the box of clothes on the floor and searching for my cover up or at least my crop top and shorts and I find nothing but winter clothes.
For a quick moment, I consider going in my bathing suit but quickly decide not to because I knew by 'lunch' my dad meant fast food and I'd rather starve than eat fast food but I could have one of the famous Griff's Burgers that I hadn't had since before we moved away.
'Dad,' I call, leaving the room.
'In here.' He calls from his room.
'I'm going to goto Griff's for lunch. Is that okay?' I ask.
'Griff's! Yes!' Travis yells walking by. 'I'll have the #3 with a large coke.'
'A #2 is fine for me. There's a 40 in my wallet by the keys.' He says.
