Peter hates his alarm, he hates his bed, and he hates being alone. It is cold and dark outside and he thinks he will freeze without Y/N.

Groaning, he turns off his alarm, and checks the time, 06:00. He sighs and sits up, rubbing his eyes. He checks to see if Y/N has texted him at all, but surprisingly there is only two messages, a picture, and a text.

The picture is her in her mirror with her sweats and a bralette on

Y/N: Good morning from your two favourite people, I threw up more this morning :(

Peter smiles at the picture and frowns at the message. He sends her a picture in the mirror.

Peter: Good morning, sorry you threw up more this morning 🙁

Peter: I'm really tired and don't want to go to work

Y/N replies.

Y/N: Thanks for sending Wills over last night, I don't know what was wrong with me.

Peter: Nothing is wrong with you, love. You have strong hormones right now, that was normal.

Y/N: Gotta get back to work, love you. x

Peter: xx

Peter throws his phone on his bed and walks to his bathroom, he turns the shower on, twisting the knob. He feels just so exhausted and jet-lagged.

He strips out of his clothes, stretching his arms in the air. He steps in, yawning but his muscles relax when he feels the cool water running down his back. He washes his skin with his vanilla soap. But his entire shower was spent thinking of Y/n, then his kid, then Y/N, then his kid.

When he is finally dressed in just trousers and a sweater, he grabs a yogurt out of his fridge and then grabs the second baby photo off of his counter, shoving it into his backpack.

When he leaves, he is just beaming with excitement, the picture of his baby is on the dashboard and he can't stop smiling at it. On the plane ride, he made arrangements with Ned so that he could pick him up and they would take Nellie to school and drive to the compound together.

He unlocks their large gate and drives into the driveway honking his horn. He grabs the picture to show to Ned, seconds later Ned and Nellie walk out of their house, and Nellie gets into her car seat.

"Hello, uncle Petah!" She shouts.

Peter turns, "Shh you are too loud," He giggles, "How are you this morning, Nells?" He asks, Ned then gets into the car.

"I am tired."

"Ah." Peter nods and turns to Ned. "Check this out, dude." He shows the picture and points to the baby, "Look." He then starts backing out and Ned grabs the picture.

"No way." Ned grins, "That is so exciting, I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks." Peter smiles, "Y/N is an emotional wreck."

Ned giggles, "She always is."

"Yeah." Peter nods and then sighs, "But, I am moving to Paris within the next two months."

Ned gulps, "Oh."

"And I will be working at the tower there. And I will still go to the United States every once in a while, but we both think France will be the safest option for the baby."
