"When you said you loved me that night," he began, then he looked at you, "did you mean it, or was it one of your lies too?" He asked.

"I meant every word I said that night to you," you answered him.
"I did what I did because I felt guilty that I took you away from Eunji."

"Our love meant nothing because there was another person fighting for me?"
"Woohyun, there's nothing in the world that could ever replace your love for me," you tried to explain yourself.
"But, you were willing to let me go?"
"I know you would never understand why I did that."
"Then, explain to me. I want to understand from the beginning."

You hesitated for a bit.
"On your birthday, Eunji came to me and begged me she wanted you back. She told me your guys' story, and I understood from her point of view. I wanted to tell you from there, but I just couldn't. When you lost your memories, her words haunted me so much, to the point where I thought if I ... let you go, my nightmares would disappear," you began.
The struggle of trying to not tear up was hard. You took a deep breath and wiped away the tear that rolled down your cheeks. You hated that you had to relive those moments through words.
"Every day I saw you...felt so painful because I knew I was going to let you go. I thought, maybe it was fated for you to lose your memories because you truly loved Eunji. I felt that I really did take you away."
"When we came here, I wished we stay'd here forever, so I could stay by your side." You confessed.
Woohyun listened carefully to every word you had to say.
"I thought if I kept this away from you and acted cold to you, it would be easier for you to let me go and for me to let you go."
"I never...wanted to sign the papers. When Eunji took me, I've only realized how important our love was. There was never a day where I didn't think about you, and I prayed every night that you'd forgive me."
You covered your face as tears rolled out.

Woohyun saw how broken you were. He moved closer to you and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to his chest.
You hugged him back, crying on his shoulder.

"You don't need to ask for my forgiveness."
You pulled away and looked at Woohyun.
Woohyun's eyes were so comforting.
"You've never left my heart."
A tear rolled down your cheek.
"Didn't I tell you not to cry?" He asked, wiping your tears away.
"Even though I left, I never really left your side."
You gave him a confused look.
"What do you mean?" You asked.
"-------, I have always been by your side," Woohyun confessed.

Woohyun pulled up on the other side of the parking lot. He turned off his headlights and checked his phone. It read 11:30PM.
Why is she still here?
Woohyun thought. He looked at your company building. Within a few minutes, he saw you walk out from the building. He knew you were tired by the way you dragged your feet to your car.
His eyes followed your every move.

Just as you approached your car, you tripped on your own shoelaces.
Woohyun quickly unbuckled himself and got out of his car. Just as he ran past the front of his car, reality hit him.
This is what she wanted. I signed the papers, so she could be happy.

Woohyun reminded himself. He saw you slowly get up and cover your face with your hands. Then, you wiped your tears with the back of your hands.
"Don't cry." He whispered.
His eyes were on you. He didn't want to miss a single second of you. You bent down and took off that one shoe, dangling it with your fingers.
He saw you enter your car, making him quickly run over to his car. He started his engine and waited for you to drive off first.
