Messiah meets Angel

Big changes for the angel.

Shiina Mahiru's POV

'Alright Mahiru today is the start of your high school life, get it together and do your best!'

Today was the start of high school I need to do my best as usual.

I cook breakfast and pack my lunch inside my bento , I make sure I have everything ready for the day, once I'm ready I leave my appartment, as I close my door  the door next to mine opens revealing a blue haired boy who  wears rhe same school uniform than me.

 He closes the door to his appartment and goes toward the elevator, he calls it and I rush next to him so that I wouldn't miss it, he notices me and nods to me, I nod back and notice his grey/ silver eyes though they looked quite emotionless

we enter the elevator together and then we start walking toward our school we walk the entire way together but we don't talk even once we enter the school he looks back at me.

"I hope you'll have a good day" he tells me then goes toward his classroom, stunned I was not able to reply, I quickly focus and go to my classroom.

'My neighboor seems alright I guess?' yes my first impression was quite confusing, the walk was relaxing despite us not talking at all.

The morning was quite boring to be honest, homeroon teacher explained rules about the school and left us time to talk to each other, it went quite well as I managed to get along with almost everyone.

Few weeks passed since the beginning of the year everyone gave me the nickname of "Angel"
'How could I get such an embarassing nickname!!!! me being an angel? That such a bad joke I can't even laugh at it'.

Anyway everything  was quite ordinary for a school life

Well until I spoke to a certain someone.

"Hello my name is Kokichi Ouma hope we'll get along Nihihi!" thas was my first meating with him and I didn't pay attention to him at first but quickly it turned out he would not leave me alone.

After our first meeting he would come talk to me and joke around almost every day, then sometime he would scare me by jumping in front of me when I didn't notice him or even call me out loudly  behind me in order to surprise me.

I first thought he had something against me so I started paying more attention to him but turns out no he just targets everyone! 
What is incredible about that is that everyone seems to enjoy his prank at first I didn't understand why but with time it started making sense his pranks were mostly harmless and I must admit quite funny.

 Strangely enough he likes to come talk to me a lot though he makes me nervous each time, whenever we talk I see him staring at my face extensively while we talk because of that everyone thinks he has a crush on me.
That's not it though I can tell he observe me, he is not looking at the angel but at me he tries to find who I am under that role I play.

Though role might be an overstatement, I really do care about everyone and I'm not forcing myself in any way, I'm used to act this ways since I was a kid after all so this angel persona is a real part of me.

Somehow Kokichi san seems to understand that I'm not showing the real Shiina Mahiru he is analyzing and trying to understand me.

'Is he trying to be friend with me is this why he tries to understand me that much?'

He quickly gained a title too, he was the laughing prince, as he always was up to no good and always laughing at the result of his prank I could understand the laughing part as for the prince part turns out girls finds him to be adorable and handsome he actually has quite a following.
