Sonic Prime: What's comes next for season 2?

Sonic Prime was Sonic's second debut into Television since Sonic Boom, which proceeded to crash and burn like the Titanic. Unlike that show, Sonic Prime became a world favourite for the blue blur and people are eagerly awaiting season 2. But that begs the question, what could happen?

Well today, I'm going to submit 5 main ideas I have for season 2.

1: Shadow goes from Zero to Hero

When the show ended on a cliffhanger, we saw Shadow attack Sonic in vengeance for the destruction of their home. From this, we know he's angry and blames sonic for everything that happened because he wouldn't stop and listen. Because of this, I find it likely he'll decide to leave Sonic stranded in a difficult world and take Nine's Gizmo's for himself to try and fix things. However, against opponents like Rusty Rose, The council and others, he's probably gonna realise later on just how outmatched he is and ask Sonic for help. Side note, What would Shadow have changed about his shoes and gloves in each world? Comment down below.

2: New Worlds

When the Paradox Prism broke, we saw that it had 5 different edges that split apart when Sonic destroyed it. Sonic was left exempt from the blast because he's the one that caused it, which also goes for shadow because of his lucky chaos control. This left 5 people caught in the blast, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge and Eggman. We've got 3 worlds so far, each fitting a certain character. Eggman has his dystopian Robotnik land, Amy has her forest world, Knuckles has a world filled with Shiny jewels and adventure. Could we see others, maybe a world of Smart over the strong for Tails and a lawless world of jewels to steal for Rouge? We may have to wait to find out.

3: Rusty Rose Redemption

Rusty Rose is a variant of Amy that has seemingly shed her humanity to become the loyal servant of the council, but is she entirely loyal? In the finale, we saw her react suddenly to Black rose, Amy's pirate counterpart, and immediately call off an attack that would've sealed the fate of Sonic and all on board. Is Rusty capable of redemption? Maybe there still is a part of Amy behind all that Rust, but we'll just have to wait and see.

4: Split Personality Disorders

One thing I found noting with someone like Knuckles was that each version of him and every other character was they all had a dominant personality trait from the Original. In New Yolk, Knuckles is seen more  as serious leader like in Sonic Forces. In the forest world, he's seen mostly paranoid in believing the trees are alive. Silly, but his paranoia can be linked to him being easily tricked by Eggman into seeing Sonic as the bad guy. In the pirate world, we see his obsession shine through, determined to lead his crew how he sees fit and claim the prism shard like Gollum in Lord of the Rings. This is seen with others Too! Nine is a recluse who doesn't trust anyone, similar to how he first met Sonic, Mangy is his woodland counterpart who is his childlike naïveté and his Pirate Counterpart values Adventure over all. If this is the case, I think it could be a really good dynamic.

5: Dimensions collide

This is my idea as to how the show could come together, literally. Sonic and most likely Shadow can't touch the prisms with wrapping them up without being sent somewhere else, but Nine and Knuckles the Dread have proved they can touch the prism all fine. Since Nine made a way to travel to the Shatter Space with a prism, it's possible they could begin to reconnect the Prism back into the main one. This could also have adverse affects, say the shard from New Yolk was connected with the green or blue one. You could end up with a robotic city that's either filled with trees as tall as skyscrapers or completely flood the whole city! This could also have the effect of merging the various versions of Sonic's friends back together, bringing them back close to being like their usual selves. This could help attribute to my last two theories, Combining these alternate selves personality fragments back into a full structure while also giving Rusty rose some of her humanity back.

So that's my list! I hope at least one of these things happen in Sonic Prime, or at least we get a full 20 minute episode where Shadow is the Main character! Oh well, Guess Sonic will be frozen in time with Shadow's gloved fist against his jaw until the next season arrives! You hear us Sega, drop the comics and get this show done!
