Chapter 22- Wrong Timing

"What should I do? Should I make a move now?" Keith thought to himself.

Keith sat up and said, "What about what I said to you on the phone?"

"Huh!? What about it!?" Yna thought, is he going to do it? Oh, no!

Keith moved closer to her. "What... Are.... You..."

"I told you I was serious..."

Yna was frozen on the spot. She can't move any part of her body.

As he moved closer and closer to her, she prepared herself for the worse.

Just a few more inches, and...

The door slammed and a guy appeared.

"Denver!!" Yna and Keith said simultaneously. Keith straighten up himself, and so did Yna.

"Did I interrupt something?"

"Oh, nothing important," Keith said then stood up.

"Let's go. We're going to be late," he added and offered his hand to her. Yna grabbed his hand and he pulled her up. She was out-balanced and she tripped.

Keith grabbed a hold on her waist to avoid her from falling and accidentally hugged her, their faces inches close to each other.

"Whooa! I think I should go," Denver said and slowly went down.

For a few seconds, their eyes locked, with both hearts beating so fast.

Keith thought," Just a few more seconds, let's stay like this."

Yna thought," Let's stay like this... Forever."

But then...

"There you are!

My Keith!"

"Jillian!!" Keith and Yna said with shocked expressions.

The two split apart, like nothing happened.

Denver ran back up and grabbed Jillian. "Ahm, Jillian! Hey! Come on! We're going to be late!"

"But what about..."

"Oh, don't mind them. They'll just follow, right guys?" Denver forced a smile.

"Okay, but..."

Denver dragged Jillian down.

"Haish! Such wrong timing!" Keith sighed.

"Yeah," Yna said, still blushing.

"Why don't we continue this some other time? Right now, Ma'am Tiffany will scold us for being late," Keith said with a bright smile.

"Continue?!! Oh, stop teasing me, Keith! Argh!" Yna said, punching Keith's arm.

Keith just gave a laugh.
