Chapter 10 - The Fall

"Honey! Your friends are here!"

"Coming Ma!' Yna answered her mother.

She went down the stairs in a graceful way. All eyes were on 

her. She was busy looking down, watching her steps. "DJ! 

Take a picture! Hurry! Oh! My baby's so pretty!"

"Wait! Yn! Look here! Smile!"

Yna looked up and saw a very unexpected person. His eyes 

were fixed at hers that reminded her of someone who looks at 

her in the same way.

She thought,"The boy?"

Suddenly, she stepped on her dress that made her out of 

balance. She was preparing herself from a very hard fall. she 

thought,"Oh no! This ws suppossed to be a great night!

Why!Why!" She closed her eyes and prepared for the worse. 

When she opened her eyes, she saw not the floor, but the 

face of Keith. Their lips were a centimeter a part. Keith was 

lying on the floor and Yna was on top of her.

"AAAAAhhhhh!" Yna shouted.

"Is that how you thank a friend? Blowing their eardrums?" 

Keith said while cleaning his right ear. Yna quickly stood up 

and looked at all the persons inside the room. Mrs. Kathryn, 

Mr. Daniel,Stella, Steven, Irma, Beth, Denver, Ariana, 

Jessie...and Keith!?

Steven helped Keith stood up. "Are you alright,Bro?" 

"Thanks."

"Oh. Your parents called us to fetch you," Stella said.

"Yn, Stella's right. We did invite them over," Mrs. Kathryn 

explained.

Yna was still confused,"But how did you know that Denver 

and Keith were also my friends?"

"Well..."

Stella jumped in and said," I called the two of them. You 

know, so that we have escorts. And also, Ariana's father is 

your father's friend as well."
