Chapter 28 - Together Again

"Sorry..." Keith said.

"What?"

Keith went to the corner where Yna was standing. They stood face-to-face.

"I said, I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" Yna said as she looked away.

"Let me explain about what I said the last time. It's just that..."

"There's nothing to explain, okay? You said what you have to say. Done."

"No. It's not done!"

Yna kept silent and looked away.

Keith doesn't know what to say. Where will he start? Will he just say that he

just followed his mother's orders to save her scholarship? Will she even believe

him?

Yna can't stand it so close to him again. She's trying to forget about him but at

this time, everything was coming back. Her feelings for him, how she truly

loved him. She tried so long to move on, but at this state, all of her efforts will

be gone.

She pushed him away and gestured to go to the door.As she was about to take

a step, Keith spoke.

"If I won't break up with you, your future will be gone!"

Yna was strucked. "What?"

"Listen. My mother knew that I was dating you. She doesn't approve of us

being together, so she threatened me that if I won't break up with you, she will

take away your scholarship. I know my mother and I believe that she will do

that," Keith explained.

Yna was still stunned. She doesn't know what to say. Keith's mother doesn't

like her? They didn't even meet yet.

"I know how important your studies are for you. So I..."

"Stop."

Keith was shocked at her reaction.

"Why didn't you even tell me? We could have done something together to

solve this. I could prove to my scholarship heads that I am worth it. I doubt it

they'll be persuaded by anybody about it. You should have told me!!!" She said

and tears started to fell from her eyes.

"For how many weeks, I searched for the reason why you broke up with me. I

even thought that you liked somebody else! I had sleepless nights thinking

about you! And this was the only reason you broke up with me!!" She said

angrily.

Keith didn't say a word. She was right. He should have told her earlier.

Yna went towards Keith with angry eyes. Keith prepared himself from the

painful slap he'll receive from her. But instead, she hugged him.

"Thank you," Yna said.

Keith hugged her back.

Unexpectedly...

"Ouch! What was that for?" Keith said as he held her sore arm because of

Yna's punch.

"Never, ever, ever do that again , or else!" Yna threatened him, trying to look

angry, with a firm tone on her voice.

"Come here you," Keith pulled her close to him.

"I won't. I promise."

While the moment was perfect, the others barged in from the door.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Denver loudly said.

"What are you doing here?" Yna curiously asked.

"We dragged them here," Nadine said.

"Thanks to these three, you two are now back together!" Irma excitedly said.

Yna was looking around. She didn't saw them.

"Beth, where are James and Jillian?" she asked.

"They told us they had to go somewhere else," Beth answered.

At the airport...

Jillian and James were patiently sitting at the waiting area.

Jillian was looking around.

"Calm down," James said to Jillian.

''Oh! There she is!" Jillian excitedly waved at the new comer.

"Hello! Welcome home!" she greeted her.

"Welcome home, Auntie," James bowed in respect.

"It's good to be back," the lady sighed in relief.

A stewardess approaced them.

"This way to your luggage, Mrs. Ayala."
