Chapter 27 - Nadine's Plan

Nadine, Jessie, and Beth were at the library. Nadine told them about her so

called "plan" so that Keith and Yna can be alright again.

"What!" Beth exclaimed upon hearing the plan.

"Do you think we can do it?" Jessie asked.

"Yeah. As long as the three of us will cooperate, the plan will work."

"How are we so sure that Keith will tell her?" Ariana, still doubting the plan,

asked.

"I know my sister. If she doesn't want to talk to you, she will really avoid you.

And sometimes, or maybe often, she'll run away," Beth said.

"Don't worry. I got the solutions for that."

"So, when are we gonna do it?" Beth asked, now confident.

"Tomorrow, when everybody's at the gym for the program."

The next day...

The students were busy for the school program. The principal is about to

announce the coming graduation ceremony.

"Keith, I just forgot something, so, is it okay for you to go ahead?" Nadine

requested her brother.

Keith just nodded in agreement.

Beth and Jessie also asked permissions to their sisters and they approved.

The three went running towards the main building.

"Come on. Let's wait for them at the gym," Stella said.

Yna, who was still not talking to Keith, went with Stella and Denver.

The others actually noticed the cold treatment of Keith and Yna but they just

pretended that they don't know since either of the two opened up to them.

James always stayed close to Yna after accepting his apology for his actions on

the ball.

Jillian, who was clinging at Keith's arm, was the only one who was happy

about everything that has happened.

Keith wore a serious face and doesn't even bother Jilian clinging to him. He

only thinks of one person...

"Yna."

"You know what? I think those kids are up to something," Irma curiously

whispered to Steven.

"I think so, too. Let's go check it out!"

The two creepingly walked away from the others and followed the kids.

Steven and Irma spied on the three. They followed them until they reached the

janitor's room.

"Yah, look at what Beth's holding," Irma whispered.

"It's a key. But a key to what?"

The two followed them until they arrived at a staircase leading to the rooftop.

Steven and Irma looked at each other and they knew immediately that they

were thinking the same thing.

Steven appeared from the post where they were hiding.

"Hey, what do you think you three are doing?!"

"Steven!" the three said out loud in surprise.

Irma also accompanied her good friend.

"We know what you're up to."

"Irma!" the three said out loud.

"You do know our plan?" Beth asked.

"Well, I don't really know exactly, but we know that you're going to the

rooftop! Yeah! That's it!" Irma replied.

"Stop it Irma. What she meant was we know that you're planning something

for Yn and Keith," Steven said.

"How did you know?" Jessie curiously asked.

"Well, I noticed you three acting so weird lately, looking to and from Keith and

Yn. So, we figured that, you might be planning something," Steven explained.

"Fine. You got us," Beth annoyingly said.

"Whatever you're planning, I think we can help," Irma offered with something-

fishy-look on her face.

At the gym...

Yna's phone rang.

"Hello? Irma? Where are you? We saved you a seat here and..."

"Yn? I need help. Please hurry! And don't tell the others yet. I don't want them

to worry," Irma said on the other line.

"What? But..."

"I'm at the rooftop. Meet me here in 5 minutes. Bye," Irma hung up.

Yna was stunned at what just happened. She stood up and Ariana grabbed her

arm.

"Oh, I'll be right back,okay?" Yna said and rushed down the bleachers.

On the other hand...

Keith's phone also rang at the same time.

"Yah? Steven?"

"Keith? I think I have a problem here. Please meet me at the rooftop in 5

minutes. And please don't tell the others yet, okay?" Steven said straight and

hung up.

Keith also went down the bleachers and went to the rooftop.

Keith was the first one to arrive at the rooftop.

"Steven!!! Where are you!" he called out.

Yna also arrived a bit later that Keith.

"Irma!" Yna called out.

Yna saw someone she least expects.

"Keith..."

Keith looked by the door and saw her.

The two looked at each other.

The door suddenly closed.

Yna was worried and knocked on it.

"Hello! Is someone out there? Please open the door!"

"I'm sorry Yn. This is the only way we can think of. See you later!" Irma said

and footsteps were heard walking down the stairs.

Keith immediately knew what was happening. He went at one corner and

stared at the view below.

Yna went on the opposite corner.

A few moments later, Keith looked at Yna and said.

"Sorry..."
