"𝐀𝐑𝐄 you sure you're okay?" Rebecca asked as Daniel leaned on her shoulder for support, and the two best friends walked out of the arena.
"Yeah, I'm just starving." Daniel laughed, as he limped and held his trophy with his free hand, and Rebecca chuckled at his reply. "You want to join us at the restaurant?"
"Oh, thanks for the invite, but that's your time to spend with your mom, Mr. Miyagi and of course Ali. But maybe next time." Rebecca smiled
It took the three awhile to make it through the crowded tournament hall, and Daniel was stopped every five seconds, and congratulations were said. Rebecca smiled as the three walked outside, allowing the cool air to hit her face.
"LaRusso, very impressive win. You showed a lot of poise." Rebecca looked behind her, as the referee and the announcer walked up to the group, and Daniel's face lit up at the compliment.
"People are gonna be talking about that last kick for years. Congratulations." The announcer said, as he patted Daniel on the shoulder
"Congratulations Daniel." Rebecca smiled as she embraced her best friend
A commotion in the background was heard. Rebecca turned her head to see Kreese grab ahold of a bystander by the collar of his jacket. "Hey man what are you doing to a brother?" The second bystander asked
"Look, don't play with me." Kreese growled
The group saw Kreese walking toward them, and Mr. Miyagi pushed Rebecca behind him in a protective manner. "Excuse me." Kreese said rudely as he shoved the referee and the announcer aside
"Why does he act like that?" Daniel asked as Kreese walked away
Rebecca saw Kreese walk towards the guys who looked glum. Johnny was holding the trophy nervously looking at the ground, Bobby had his arms crossed staring at the ground, Tommy was biting his finger nails looking at ground, and Jimmy was talking Dutch who was wearing a cap.
"That guy just doesn't know what karate's all about." the announcer said
"Yeah, well maybe he should learn." Daniel said
"You gonna teach him?" the announcer asked
"No." Daniel laughed
