Mike's eyes flutter open as Will's head comes into view. He's still snoring against Mike's chest, so Mike assumes that it's the next day, although he can't hear Nancy or Jonathan, they might still be out looking for food.

His eyes trail up to the clock, seeing that it's 7 PM, meaning that it's still most likely the same day. He groans quietly as Will moves a bit, but he doesn't wake up. Mike's glad about that, he knows that Will hasn't been getting much sleep, so he wants Will to sleep for as long as he wants.

But he also knows that he has to get up and talk to Jason. Maybe challenge him to a duel.

Will's eyes open slowly, sitting up slightly. "What time is it?" He mumbles, rubbing his eyes. "7. We slept for two and a half." Mike responds, moving Will off of him and onto the couch alone as he gets off. "I'm going to go talk to Jason. You stay here, okay?"

Will grabs his hand quickly. "No!" He yells, startling Mike. "Please Mike, we don't have to confront him or anything. Let's just do something else. Something fun, just for us!"

Mike is going to respond, but then suddenly, he gets a thought.

He and Will had never gone on a real date. Maybe the lake counted as a date, but it didn't really feel like one. Mike wants Will to feel special and cared for, and he knows that a date is exactly what they both need.

"Hm, okay. Then what about a date?"

"A date??"

"Yes. We've never been on a date before despite dating for a while, so maybe a date will help ease all of our worries. It could be a day just for me and you, without anyone or anything interfering."

Will smiles and sits up with a nod. "Alright! But, I don't have any nice clothes." Will says, his smile quickly turning into a frown.

Mike grabs Will's other hand. "Will, I don't care about what you wear. You always look good to me, you should know that by now."

Will smiles brightly and lets go of Mike's hands, rushing towards his bedroom. "Wait for me outside!" He says excitedly, motioning with his hand for Mike to leave the house. Mike wants to object, but he doesn't. Instead, he just walks out the door and waits for Will just like he had requested.

A couple of minutes pass before Will walks out of the house, wearing new clothes. He's bouncing slightly, almost glowing in joy. It's a big difference from the way Will was these past couple of days.

"Where did you get that shirt?" Mike asks.

"Oh, it's my brothers!"

"Yeah, we're definitely not kissing on our date."

Will rolls his eyes playfully. "Why?"

"Because that shirt is your brother's shirt."

"It's just a shirt, Mike."

"He probably made out with Nancy in that!"

"Okay, now you made it weird. We're definitely not kissing in this thing." Will says as he rubs his shoulder softly.

Mike laughs and grabs Will's available hand. "We're gonna have the best date. Kissing or not. As long as I'm with you, I'll have a good time." Mike says.

Will smirks, "You're being cheesy."

Mike shrugs, "Whatever. Excuse me for being cheesy on our first date!" Mike says as he lets go of Will's hand, grabbing the door knob to open the door before Will stops him.

"Where are you going?" He asks. "I'm going to change."

"No, let's just go! You look good already." Will smiles and pulls Mike away from the door. "Now, where are we gonna go?"
