"What happened? I mean, I thought his wound was getting better! The blood wasn't spilling anymore, and he said he was feeling better.." Vickie mumbles as she inspects Will's shoulder.
Mike feels super guilty. If he didn't ask Will to go on the date he wouldn't have gotten hurt. This wouldn't have happened if he didn't push Will into the water.
Jonathan storms over to Mike, pointing his finger at him. Steve holds him back as he yells, "It was him! My brother has been getting seriously hurt around him. How do we not know he's abusive or something?" Jonathan suggests.
Nancy gasps, "What the hell is wrong with you? My brother isn't like that, Jonathan!" She yells back.
"That's what they all say, Nancy! This is the second time he's hurt Will. Not to mention, they haven't been on good terms as of recently, so really, what's holding him back from hurting him purposely?"
"Mike isn't like your father, Jonathan!"
Suddenly, the whole room goes quiet. Mike stands awkwardly, unsure of what to say or do. He is offended that Jonathan would ever think he would abuse Will, but he knows that Jonathan is just a caring and scared big brother.
Steve pushes Jonathan out of the tent. "Come on, man. Let's go take a break." He says, pushing Jonathan farther outside of the tent. Jonathan doesn't fight and instead leaves with Steve.
Eddie ruffles Mike's hair before he follows them out. Nancy opens her mouth to speak, but she doesn't speak and leaves as well. Robin sighs, "I know you didn't purposely hurt him, Wheeler. Just be careful next time, okay?" She says, kissing Vickie and then leaving.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault. I wasn't cautious and didn't think to stitch him up. I thought that he would be fine, and I thought that he didn't need it, but now I realize that his wound is getting very bad. It's very infected, to the point where his arm is close to having to be amputated. Now, I doubt we would have to go that far for now, but I have to clean and stitch it before it gets that bad. For me to do that, I would need you to leave the tent, Mike." She smiles at him.
"Oh." He says awkwardly, thanking her and leaving the tent.
The thought of Will's arm getting amputated scares him. How much of his arm would have to go? His shoulder was hit, and that's pretty far up his arm.
Mike shivers at the thought, trying his best to ignore it.
He tries to think of something to distract himself, then he remembers Jason. Will told Mike not to talk to him, but he can't let Jason get away with what he did. Mike doesn't want to hurt Chrissy, but he knows that Chrissy deserves better than him.
He heads toward Steve's house. He knows that they keep the weapons in his house, and he can't just battle Jason without one.
He knocks on the door, and after a couple of seconds, Eddie opens the door. "Wheeler, what's up?" He asks.
"I need a weapon. It doesn't matter what it is, I need one. Also, where is Steve? This is his house, isn't it? Why are you here?"
"One thing at a time kid," Eddie says as he drags Mike inside. "One, why do you need a weapon? Two, Steve is with Nancy and Jonathan, three, yes this is his house, and lastly, I am here because this is also my house too. You didn't believe I didn't have a house, right?" Eddie laughs, walking into the weapon room.
Mike's face burns in embarrassment because he actually did think that Eddie didn't have a house to sleep in.
He follows Eddie into the room, nearly getting hit with a sword.
"Woah, I didn't expect you to follow me," Eddie says as he passes Mike the sword. "Here, take this. It's strong, and it does a lot of damage, so be careful with it."
