INT. TAILS'S LAB - SATURDAY, 34 DAYS BEFORE INCIDENT
Sonic and Tails are sitting on a couch, playing video games.
SONIC (excitedly) This is so much fun, Tails! I'm glad we decided to take a break from saving the world and just have a day of relaxation.
TAILS (smiling) I know, right? But wait, what's that outside?
Sonic and Tails walk to the window and see a strange object fall from the sky and crash into a nearby forest.
SONIC (surprised) Whoa, what was that?! We should go check it out.
TAILS (excitedly) Yeah, let's go!
CUT TO:
EXT. FOREST - DAY
Sonic and Tails arrive at the crash site and see a strange, metallic object.
SONIC (curiously) What is this thing? I've never seen anything like it before.
TAILS (analyzing the object) I think it's some kind of spaceship. But who could have sent it here?
Suddenly, a group of robots appear and surround Sonic and Tails.
ROBOT 1 (in a mechanical voice) Surrender, intruders! This is the property of Dr. Eggman.
SONIC (determined) Dr. Eggman?! What is he up to now?
TAILS (firmly) We're not going to let him get away with it this time.
Sonic and Tails engage in a battle with the robots, using their speed and teamwork to defeat them.
CUT TO:
INT. SPACECRAFT - DAY
Sonic and Tails enter the spacecraft and find Dr. Eggman inside, working on a machine.
DR. EGGMAN (smiling wickedly) Ah, Sonic and Tails. I was hoping you'd show
