Fade in:
INT. ABANDONED CITY - THE INCIDENTS
Espio the Chameleon is seen sneaking through the abandoned city, searching for any signs of Amy Rose.
ESPIO: Amy, where are you? I'll find you, no matter what it takes.
Suddenly, Dr. Eggman appears, wielding a large hammer.
DR. EGGMAN: Ha! You're not getting away this time, Espio!
Espio charges at Dr. Eggman, ready to stop his evil plans. However, Dr. Eggman proves too powerful, and with a single strike of his hammer, he knocks Espio unconscious.
DR. EGGMAN: Another victory for the great Dr. Eggman! And as for you, Espio, you're no longer a threat to my plans.
Fade to black.
The screen shows Espio, lying motionless on the ground, with wires and circuits spilling out of his body.
SONIC: Espio! What happened to him?
TAILS: It looks like he's been damaged beyond repair. He's no longer functional.
Sonic and Tails stand over the fallen Espio, mourning their friend and comrade.
SONIC: We'll always remember the bravery and skill of Espio the Chameleon. He'll be missed.
Fade out.
