Fade in:
INT. SONIC AND TAILS' HIDEOUT - DAY
Sonic is still mourning the loss of his best friend, Tails.
SONIC: I'll never forget you, Tails. Rest in peace.
Just as Sonic is about to turn away, Tails suddenly reappears, alive and well.
TAILS: Sonic, what are you talking about? I'm not dead!
SONIC: Tails! You're alive! How is this possible?
TAILS: I don't know, I just suddenly came back to life!
SONIC is stunned, unable to believe his eyes. He stares at Tails in disbelief, trying to process what has just happened.
SONIC: This is incredible. How is this possible?
TAILS: I don't know, but I'm just glad to be back.
SONIC: Me too, Tails. Me too.
The two friends embrace, overjoyed to be reunited. And as they continue to talk and catch up, Sonic can't help but stare at Tails in amazement, still trying to grasp the reality of what has just happened.
