Sonic and Tails are racing through the lush green hills, collecting rings and taking down Eggman's robots. Suddenly, a new and powerful robot appears, and Sonic bravely steps forward to face it.
SONIC Don't worry, Tails. I've got this!
The robot attacks, and Sonic puts up a valiant fight. However, it proves too much for him, and he is ultimately defeated.
TAILS (tearfully) Sonic! No!
Sonic takes his last breath as Tails cradles him in his arms.
Fade to black.
Fade in:
INT. HEAVENLY REALM - DAY
Sonic opens his eyes and finds himself in a strange, ethereal world.
SONIC What happened? Where am I?
A voice booms out, speaking to Sonic.
VOICE You have passed on from your mortal life, Sonic the Hedgehog. But you have earned a second chance. A chance to be reincarnated and live again.
SONIC Really? That's amazing!
VOICE Yes, but there is a catch. You must first prove yourself worthy of this new life by undertaking a journey and completing a series of trials.
SONIC I'm ready! I'll do whatever it takes.
Fade to black.
Fade in:
EXT. MYSTERIOUS ISLAND - DAY
Sonic finds himself on a mysterious island, where he must navigate through various obstacles and challenges to reach the end. Along the way, he encounters old friends and enemies, who help or hinder him in his journey.
SONIC I won't let anything stop me from getting back to my friends.
Finally, after many trials, Sonic reaches the end of the journey and is greeted by the voice once more.
VOICE Well done, Sonic. You have proven yourself worthy of reincarnation.
Fade to black.
Fade in:
EXT. GREEN HILL ZONE - DAY
Sonic is reborn and finds himself back in the Green Hill Zone. Tails is overjoyed to see him again.
TAILS Sonic! You're back!
SONIC Yeah, buddy. And I'm not going anywhere this time.
The two friends embrace as the camera pulls back to show the beautiful and peaceful world they now inhabit.
