The duplicate Eggman flies off in his duplicate Eggmobile to confront Sonic and Tails.
INT. Green Hill Zone - DAY
Sonic and Tails are seen walking away from the frying pan, still laughing, when they suddenly hear the sound of an Eggmobile flying towards them.
SONIC: (surprised) What's that noise?
TAILS: (looking back) It sounds like another Eggmobile!
DUPLICATE EGGMAN: (laughing) Ha ha ha! You thought you had defeated me, but I have returned!
SONIC: (angrily) What do you mean you've returned? You're supposed to be a scrambled egg by now!
TAILS: (stunned) How did he survive the frying pan?
DUPLICATE EGGMAN: (smiling) I have a duplicate, my friends. I always have a backup plan!
SONIC: (determined) Well, two can play at that game!
Sonic and Tails get ready for another battle against the duplicate Eggman. The scene cuts to an intense battle between the three of them. The battle lasts for several minutes, with both sides evenly matched.
Suddenly, the original Eggman crawls out of the frying pan and joins the battle.
EGGMAN: (angrily) What are you doing, duplicate? I am the one who should be defeating Sonic!
DUPLICATE EGGMAN: (smiling) I was just trying to help, boss.
SONIC: (laughing) Looks like you guys are having a little bit of a family feud!
The scene ends with Sonic, Tails, the original Eggman, and the duplicate Eggman fighting. The battle continues off-screen as the scene fades to black.
