Chapter 3 | consultation

 the 2nd period now, you finally got back to the classroom. Thank the gods it was a free subject and you don't have to do anything. You sat beside a half-asleep Hanni. Due to her brain being half dead, she failed to notice your arrival which honestly isn't a bad thing.

Let's see, how did the nurse consultation go again.

You sat on the infirmary bed after you thank Minji for escorting you here. She was reluctant to leave but had no choice since the nurse decided to send the stubborn school president back to her supposed class.

"Let's see the problem Y/N-ssi, what are you feeling right now?" the nurse asked, visibly shocked to see you here. You were a sports player so it was natural for you to escort another sport mate of yours to the infirmary every time they get injured or just feel sick in general. However, it's your first time being the actual patient.

You were determined to know your problem and the cause of the peculiar feeling you have been experiencing for a while now, so you made sure to tell her everything. How every time you see Minji your face just randomly flushes, your heartbeat goes faster, you suddenly feel like puking, and it gives you a hard time breathing.

After hearing that the nurse couldn't help but smile. You were unsure if that smile was meant to offend you or not. The nurse couldn't keep it in anymore and giggled but kept a straight face after. "Y/N-ssi, when did you start experiencing these symptoms?"

You told her that you don't exactly know when.

The nurse really couldn't keep a straight face anymore with your obliviousness. You look utterly lost right now, like a kid who just started experiencing having a small crush, except, it's actually you experiencing a crush and you have no idea, not a single thought behind those eyes.

"Y/N-ssi, I think I know your problem now, but for confirmation can you describe the school president again?"

"Uhm let's see, she's beautiful, smart, kind, sweet, and honestly, she's more than that. I personally think that every phrase is an understatement to describe her." You answered with all honesty. You wanted to know the problem already.

The nurse then giggled at this response again "Y/N-ssi, you have this sickness called LS, it's normal for students your age to experience this. Rest assured; you will feel better soon if you talk to your friends." This reply made you even more confused. 'LS? Is that lung sickness?'

Before you can even protest and say that it might not be that, you're already being shooed away by the nurse telling you that the right number of conversations with your friends could fix the problem.

Remembering it all again, you tapped Hanni's shoulder. Dani and Minji weren't present due to them being called by the school principal for their school officer duties. However, now Hanni isn't just half-asleep, she's already sleeping like a log.

"Hey Hanni, wake up I really need your help" the desperation in your voice made a huge impact in Hanni's subconscious, waking her up. "Oh, you're back! Minji told us you were sick so you might not make it to class but eh you're back now so what can I help you with?"

You told Hanni about the weird feeling and the nurse encounter earlier which she at first thought was a joke but realized you were actually serious. After telling her everything there was nothing but silence between the two of you. Hanni looks...questionable right now. She's so red and she looks like she's holding something back. Before answering you, she called Haerin and Hyein first to seat beside you guys.
