I watched as my teammates individually made their way out of the gym after finishing our volleyball training for today.
"Goodbye captain!!" my friend said.
I waved my hand to reciprocate the goodbye.
Classes ended approximately 3 hours ago with me bidding my goodbyes to Hanni, Haerin, Hyein, and Danielle. I'm fairly tired and hungry now but I still need to know if Minji's done with her presidential duties already.
'I should definitely go get ice cream with her after eating barbeque.' I am a huge fan of cold food; despite this cold season I still love to eat ice cream. Eating ice cream is one way to reward myself for doing something, whether it may be big or not.
I stored my school uniform and training gear in my sports bag. Prior to changing into my current attire, I made sure to have a quick shower. By casual, I meant baggy black sweatpants and a blue zip-up neck jacket. After training, I prefer to dress loosely since it makes it easier for me to move.
Before heading out—from our gymnasium I grabbed my phone and messaged Minji again.

김민지🐻: I'm heading to the rooftop to check if someone snuck there.
Oh, I definitely missed that message earlier. 'I hope I didn't create another problem for her by sneaking to the rooftop.'

I made sure to inform her about my supposed location first. I'm certain she won't be able to quickly see my messages, she's busy after all. Making my way to the school grounds, I grabbed my precious grey headphones. Now that I'm thinking about it, Minji and I designed these headphones. She chose to put these silly bunnies and bear stickers here.
I chose to play the OST from "What's wrong with secretary Kim", "It's you."

As the sun set slowly, I could see clouds forming different shapes. That one looks like a dog. That one looks like a bear, just like Minji. 'Now everything reminds me of her.'

I walked until I arrived at my location, I sat exactly there, on the bench near the water fountain. Before I relax fully, I checked my phone first for any reply from Minji.
You: are you about to finish already?
I'm going to wait for you on the school grounds, near the water fountain.
김민지🐻: Oh, you're pretty early then, I might finish all of this by 5:40.
김민지🐻: You can go first if you're tired.
5:20 pm
You: I'm not tired, I'll wait for you here.

Finishing my reply, I noticed how I am being stubborn today. Though, I think my stubbornness is valid at the moment. I did exactly what I said, I sat here and waited. Not noticing how the fatigue from the practice is slowly winning against my will to stay awake, my consciousness slipping away.

Minji's POV:
As of right now, it is 5:39 pm, so I should finish everything and head over to Y/N's location. I regret keeping her waiting for me. She must already be worn out from practicing so much today.
The moon was almost ready to take the place of the sun as it began to settle down. When I eventually arrived at the bench area, I looked around as the sky grew darker. One person caught my attention as she sat quietly on the bench with a serene expression on her face.
She is sporting an outfit that is so basic but makes her appear amazing. 'She sure looks heavenly for someone who's only wearing sweatpants and a zip-up jacket.' I sat down next to the woman and made the decision to hold off for a few more minutes so she could take a short nap. She is a light sleeper, so I am confident that she will become aware of my presence soon. As I sat there quietly, I took my rare chance to immerse myself and stare at her peaceful figure.
She is still taller than I am even while seated. I have to admit that as we started high school, I started to envious of her height. The girl who used to barely reach my neckline suddenly outgrew me by a head. Who allowed her to tower over me just like that?
'Your future partner is extremely lucky, you're pretty, smart, talented, and kind.'
'Lucky me I guess?' My own thought made me giggle which caused her to stir awake.
"Please take a picture president, it'll last longer"
