It was around 6 o' clock when I had woken up with a big grin. Today was the first of September! I literally jumped out of bed and looked outside. It was gray. I gave a small pout, but it was broken by a soft smile. I wouldn't let such a thing like gray weather spoil my mood. This was London! It's gray a lot of the time so nothing unusual. I stretched my body, hearing a few 'pop's and did the necessary preparations for today's journey. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and hair and got dressed in a light brown turtleneck, black jeans, matching light brown ankle boots and a cute white knitted beanie. I repacked all my things and looked to Seyfert's cage. He wasn't there.

'Is he still out?' I asked myself, but then remembered he might be with Hedwig. 'I'll see if Harry is up.'

I left my room to cross the hall to Harry's door, the brass number 11 sticking out against it. Tom was coming up from the hall and spotted me.

“Good morning Miss Hummings!” he nodded to me and gave me one of his toothless grins.

“Hello Tom! What do you have there?” I said, noticing the tray of crumpets and tea he was holding.

“A small wake up treat for Mr. Potter,” he said. “Would you care for some?”

“That's very kind of you Tom, but no thank you. I can deliver this to Harry for you. I'm sure you're a bit busy with handling everything else.”

“Oh couldn't let you--”

“Please. You do a lot for witches and wizards. Helping you out is the least I could do for all the kindness you show everyone.”

He took a second to give me another smile before he nodded and offered me the tray. I took the tray from his hands and smiled back.

“Thank you dear.”

“You're welcome.”

Tom turned to leave and I turned back to Harry's door. I knocked on it and waited a few seconds before the door swung open with Harry now standing there. It looked like he had just gotten ready, rubbing his eyes a bit sleepily.

“Good morning!” I said with a bit of pep.

“Good morning,” he yawned.

“Can I come in?” I asked, lifting the tray to show him I had some food.

He nodded his head and stepped aside to let me through. I went in and set the tray of goods onto a small table. I looked around and there was Seyfert with Hedwig perched on the mantle, both sleeping snugly with shut eyes. I let them be for the moment.

“Tom let me bring the morning tea to you,” I said to Harry as he rubbed his eyes more.

“Thanks Jaden,” he yawned again. “Just let me get dressed okay?”

He grabbed some clothes off the dresser and walked into the bathroom. I sat in the chair of the room's desk and sighed. I felt kind of stupid at the moment. I mean I just met him yesterday and here I was bringing tea and staying in his room waiting for him. This must be so wrong on so many levels to a stranger.

'I think I'm being too nice,' I sighing mentally. 'Dad did say I was always one to push friendship too fast...' A horrible thought crossed my mind at that moment.

'He probably thinks that I'm some rabid fan! I'm a creeper!!! My brother must think I'm some sort of stalker!'

I shook my head to make myself stop thinking and lightly pounded at my head. I was too busy with mentally and slightly physically beating on myself, knitting my eyebrows together in frustration, to noticed that Harry had come out fully dressed and awake.
