I took another bite of my cake as Riley came back inside. "What's up?" I asked as she sat down. "Josh and Morgan had a fight. I think it's serious." Riley said. I looked out the door to see Josh stomping up the stairs and out to the street. "Seems it." I said.
The next morning was brutal. I had gotten little to no sleep last night, just like the past few days.
"Peaches!" Riley screamed when I crawled through her window. "Hey." I said. "So, the plan for today is we meet Smackle for breakfast. Then we have to go get our nails done, then we meet the boys for lunch, then a movie, then ice cream. After the ice cream, we go ice skating. Then we come back here for dinner, then everyone else goes home and we binge our favorite shows!" I laughed. "Can't wait. Do either of us know how to ice skate?" I asked her. I knew we've been before, but I don't think we actually know how. "It doesn't matter." Riley said.
We walked down to Topanga's. "Riley, Maya!" Smackle called out to us. We sat down with her and started talking. "Have either of you ever gotten acrylics before?" Smackle asked. "I do. I get neutral nails though, so it's kinda hard to tell." I said while Riley shook her head no. "It doesn't hurt." I assured her.
"Would you girls like anything to eat?" A waitress, a.k.a my mom, asked us. "Can I have the breakfast sandwich?" Riley said. "Me too!" Smackle said. "Can I have a smoothie? And the sandwich?" Riley and Smackle nodded their heads in agreement. "Three strawberry banana smoothies and three breakfast sandwiches. Coming right up." My mom said. She walked away, and was back ten minutes later with our breakfast. "Thank you!" We all said.
"Okay, our appointment is in thirty minutes, so eat fast because it takes ten minutes to get there and I like being early." Smackle said. We all dug into our sandwiches.
As we walked, we talked about what colors we wanted. "I think I'm going to get dark blue with a white French tip." I said. "Ooh, that's nice. I'm gonna get red." Smackle said. "I want pastels!" Riley yelled. We all laughed at how many people looked at us.
After getting our nails done, we walked down to a pizza place. We walked inside and looked for the boys. They were sitting at a table near in the corner. "Hello." Lucas said as we sat down. Riley went to sit next to him. I couldn't see, but I could tell he grabbed her hand.
"Ooh, let's get garlic knots!" Farkle said. "Buffalo extra spicy wings!" Zay said. "Pepperoni and bacon." I said. "Garlic pizza." Riley said. "Meat lovers." Lucas said. "I'm getting a salad." Smackle said. "Let's just get all of it!" I screamed after some more screaming. "Two medium pizzas. Garlic and bacon and pepperoni, because that's basically meat lovers. Smackle, get a salad. Garlic knots and wings." I said. Everyone nodded in agreement.
After our food came, their was at least five minutes of silence as we began to eat.
