Chapter 3.2 :New Realtions II

1st day of classes, 8.55 a.m.

Ichinose Honami

Today was the first day of courses, and I needed to start looking for clues about the school system if I wanted any hope of preventing the class from self-destructing.

I reached class just 5 minutes before the bell, and what welcomed me was the hoard of girls in my class swarming around the seat of Hirata-kun.

He undoubtedly is popular with the ladies.

I approached Hase.. no, Haruka-san, and Miyake-kun, who were conversing.

"Good day, Haruka-san and Miyake-kun." I said to them.

"Good morning, Nami-chan/ Ichinose-san," they said simultaneously.

"How did your first two days at school go?" I inquired.

"They were fantastic, Ichinose-san. I can't believe how much this school is doing for us," Haruka-san said.

"That's right. But it's still kind of unnerving that they are so easily giving so much money to just high schoolers," Miyake-kun said.

"You're correct, Miyatchi. I also think they're simply pampering us," Haruka-san added.

"Hey stop calling me that"

"But it's such a good nickname"

"Well, I don't like it"

These two seems to be getting along rather well.

Also both of them appear to have reservations about the educational system. I should advise them about overspending their points.

"Right, so, if you don't mind me asking, how many points have you spend already?" I inquired.

They were astonished by my quick inquiry, but they still responded.

"I still have 94,000 points," Miyake-kun replied.

"I still have 91,000 points," Haruka-san stated.

That's great. They don't appear to have spent much. It will not be difficult to persuade them to conserve points because they are not heavy spenders.

"However, Ichinose-san, why do you inquire?" Miyake-kun inquired.

I don't believe I should inform them about the hypothesis that we won't obtain 100,000 points, at least not until I have proof to back up my claim.

"Oh... nothing. I only inquired since I was concerned that you should not waste the funds. I mean, saving is a good idea after all," I replied.

"Ah, I see," remarked Miyake-kun.

Chabashira-sensei then entered the classroom and began the classes.

"All right, we'll chat later, you two," I remarked to both of them, and they nodded.

Nothing special happened today, in my perspective, because the teachers at this school were exactly like any other high school. The teaching approaches were similar, however there was one thing that caught my attention during the class.

And that was the extra lethargic behaviour of Chabashira-sensei during her class. The majority of the students in the class were misbehaving and doing their own thing, and our teacher never said anything or punished anyone.

At first, I assumed that was simply Chabashira-sensei's personality and she is a laid-back instructor, but that changed when other teachers arrived and did the same thing. They went on teaching as if nothing had happened. This behaviour of our instructors baffles me.
