Me and Thalia spent a few more hours talking about the our dreams and what "power" she had. The weekend flew by and before we notice it was already Monday.

We got up and prepared for school, Thalia's mom was going to take us. The morning was calm, we took breakfast and talked like a normal family, a lot different from my house. At my parent's house we normally woke up late already, me and my mom had just a cup of milk in silence and went out of the house. So, for me this was different.

Thalia's mom took us to school and we said our goodbyes. When entering the school, I noticed everyone was looking at us, but I didn't knew the reason. Not until Harper started talking.

-Look there it comes the girl who abandoned her whole family for another girl! – she and everyone around her burst into laughter.

-I think it's better for you to know the whole story before you open that dirty mouth of yours. This is my sister you are talking about, so I advise you to shut up.

I looked at Thalia as she defended me from Harper, so this is what it feels like being cared by someone.

Years have passed since all that happened, Thalia and I finished our studies and got a job, everything was going as planned. However, since that day I have never spoken to my parents, or anyone directly related to my biological family. They tried to contact me several times, however never in order to try to solve what happened but with banal questions as if they were ignoring everything, they put me through. Of course, it was all in vain, I ignored every message and went on with my life.

Despite working in a coffee shop this was only part time for me as I devoted the rest of my time to writing as I had always wanted to do. I started at the bottom, publishing here and there some of the books I wrote, until one day one of the biggest international publishers got in touch with me. They asked me to be part of their online team. Accepting their offer was the best thing I've done, right now I became a well known online author, and well paid too.

Thalia was web designer and already had a job offer in South Korea, and I could work everywhere since my work is done online. We just needed to get a few things right and we'd be ready for the trip, but we still didn't have a set date yet.

It's funny during this time we have been so busy, and my head has been full of things that I stopped dreaming about him. I never stopped think of him or listening to his music but dreaming and feeling him, that part as stopped. Even for Thalia was the same. But that doesn't matter right now (he is one of the reasons I want to go there but not the main one).

It's almost time to go to work and today is the day I'm going to deliver my resignation letter. I'm so nervous, I already told my boss when I signed the contract that this was only going to be temporary but still she helped me so much and my team mates also. I'm going to miss them.

-Hi everyone! – I said entering the cafeteria.

-Hello princess. - My shift boss greeted me in his usual sweet way.

I was the youngest there so, for me it was normal the way he treated me. And he was going to get married soon, I was so happy for him.

-Hey girl. - It was my coworker, who was about to leave her shift. – If you are here, it means that it's my time to go home!

-Yes, it is! Let me ask you something. Is the big boss on her office?

-Yes. Why?

-I'm sorry to tell you this today but I'm going to deliver my resignation letter.

-Really? That means you are finally going there, I'm so happy for you. – She hugged along with the others.

That hug felt like the world to me, it was good to know that I was appreciated by them. I went to the big boss office, knocked on the door and entered the office as soon she gave me permission to. She was busy working on her computer, so I made it quick. I put the letter on top of the table right in front of her, she immediately stopped what she was doing and looked at me.

-I guess the time as finally come. I'm glad that you worked for me during this time, when it's your last day with us? – She asked with a smile in her face.

-I'll leave in two weeks.

-Good, that gives me time to try finding someone like you. It's going to be hard, but I'll managed it. As long that is for your dreams, I won't be mad. I wish you the best.

I thanked her and left the office to start my shift. The work was going normally as usual, in the first hours we didn't had much people going in but almost at the end of the day the whole people came in. It was going to be an busy night.

After hours of serving customers, washing dishes and many other things, it was finally time to start getting everything ready for closing. But my day wasn't over yet, and I was alone closing the cafeteria today.
