The other soon came out yelling and screaming knowing that the 2 hedgehogs are now engaged. Sonic got up and hugged everyone- especially his brother Tails "Thank you buddy" "Anything for my brother" Sonic smiled at that comment which made Tails smile back. Later everyone was out laying on the grass and talking amongst their friends and Shadow and sonic laid on the blanket- Shadow actually laying on it and sonic just resting his head on shadows chest fur. Sonic looked at the moon, his green emerald eyes sparkling while shadow was staring at the moon as well- ruby eyes sparkled from the ground.

"Thank you shadow, really. I love you so much" Shadow sat up while hugging sonic and sonic just nuzzled in his chest fur. "Anything for you, love"

A couple months passed by and Sonic officially broke the news to the world that he was now engaged with the one and only, Shadow the hedgehog. Some people were pretty happy and excited about the news, some were not but it's nothing they could do anyway. Tails and the others helped Sonic save up enough money for a new house for just him and Shadow, it was a long process but they soon all came up with enough and gave the amount needed to Sonic- who was spending time looking up houses to buy when he saw one he liked.

It was big enough to fit all the stuff he and Shadow needed ( 2 story house ) and it was super cheap so Sonic quickly took this as an opportunity to buy it, 2 days later the owner of the house responded back. Since she was a huge fan of Sonic she gave it to him immediately! Sonic was very pumped about this and was even happier about the fact that now he had a house his plan was going to work. What's his plan you may ask? well, you'll have to find out yourself. Sonic called all his other friends except for Rouge and Shadow- who was spending the day together (and also to distract Shadow so Sonic could prepare the surprise) so they could check it out themselves. Everyone was pretty enthusiastic about the idea so they quickly set up the stuff they COULD set up since nobody has thought about buying any furniture. 

Once that was done Sonic went into Tails house to take a shower and get ready for the rest of the day with Shadow. After that, he went into his bedroom and grabbed his phone to call his soon-to-be husband, Shadow.

Shadow's pov: 

I was laying down on the couch while Rouge was in the kitchen making me some food. I haven't heard from Sonic today so far, I hope he's okay. My ear twitched at the sound of my phone ringing and I practically jumped up to see who it was a huge smile appeared on my face when I saw the contact. It was Sonic, I quickly picked up while walking upstairs and pointing to my phone while looking at Rouge- who got the hint and nodded while gesturing me to go. I walked towards my room and closed the door while putting the phone on speaker and answering. "Yes?" "Hey, shadz! I was wondering if you could come over to Tails right now, I have a surprise for you" I smiled even wider hearing finally hearing his voice and thinking about the surprise he was talking about "Sure, I'll be right there" "Alright, bye shadz! mwah" Sonic hunged up and I just chuckled while opening the door and walking downstairs to where Rouge was now on the couch texting someone- most likely Knuckles. "Hey rouge, I'm going to go to Tails place now. Sonic said he had a surprise for me?" Rouge sat up more and looked at me with joy sparkling in her eyes, geez is the surprise that big of a deal? "go ahead hun! Im sure you'll love the surprise he has for you~" I chaos controlled in front of the foxes door and was about to knock on it when I heard a window open. 

Next thing I knew I was holding sonic in my arms while staring at him with a death glare. "What were you thinking!? you could've hurt yourself idiot" I set sonic down on his feet "Pssh cmon shadow! I would have landed-" "In the hospital I know, you were nowhere near landing on 2 feet" Sonic hushed me "Ok whatever now cmon I wanna show you the surprise I got you!!" Sonic pulled me by the wrist and dragged me toward the foxes garage where Sonic's car is (yeah he has a car, got it from SEGA) and unlocked it while hopping inside which I did too. 

Driving there~ 

We were driving into a neighborhood, Why are we in a neighborhood? I guess we're having a party or something- wait. I opened my phone when my jaw dropped It was valentines day and I haven't gotten anything for sonic! What if he expects me to give him a surprise too? geez, I'm such a horrible fiance. Sonic cut me out my thoughts by talking to me out of nowhere and handing me a blindfold "Hey shadz imma need you to wear this, we're almost there and I cant spoil the surprise. I nodded while taking it and tying the blindfold around my face- which I did ny myself somehow. 

After a while more of driving, the car came to a stop and I heard Sonic turn the ignition off and open the car door to my side, grabbing my hand which I did to his. I heard him count down while we were walking which made me even more excited. 

"Alright!"

"1!"

My eyes were uncovered and my jaw dropped when I saw what was in front of me.

new

house....

Tears of joy started to escape my eyes out of happiness, this meant that me and sonic were going to finally be able to live together I noticed there was a huge pink banner on the front door that read "Happy val day!♡" I ran up to sonic who was standing by the door and hugged him giving him kisses all over.

3rd pov:

Sonic giggled from the amount of kisses he was getting from shadow "heh, shadz stop~" sonic said while finally able to sit up and push his lover off of him. "So sonic, does this mean we're-" sonic cut him off while standing up and putting his hands on his waist and speaking proudly. "Yep! my friends helped me save up for this house and now we're gonna be able to live together alone and guess what? we even get to decorate the house ourselves!!" Shadow chuckled quietly while saying "Never thought I would ever get a whole house for valentines day, let alone an actual valentine. Sonic your incredible" sonic just pecked shadows lips while grabbing his hand. 

"Wanna go inside?" Sonic smiled brightly at Shadow

"Sure" Shadow smiled lightly back to his lover and with that- Sonic pulled shadow and ran into their new house to see the inside.
