"I love you too shads, actually I have been for a while now" sonic giggled softly after saying that.
I'm glad that fox told you that information, I still don't know how he found all of that out, but it paid off in the end.

Days have gone by since that particular day, and Sonic and Shadow are finally together they have been hanging out more but not too much as they have their own 'family' to take care of.
Sonic would usually hang out or go on dates with Shadow if he wanted to and Shadow never mind since all he wants is to make his mate happy, The two hedgehogs may have confessed their feelings over a silly accident but since they can't go back in time the only thing they can do is just thank their chaos energy (and Tails) for all of this happening.
You may think this is the end of the story since they have gotten together now.
Well, your wrong, Sonic still has to host his party- which is tomorrow, and now he's currently stressing over the littlest things you can imagine.

'All parties usually have a movie at the end of their day so what movie should we watch then?'
' I think I'm overdoing this'

Sonic would still be overthinking and exhausting himself more if it wasn't for his little brother, Tails the fox snapping him out of his overthinking and zoning out state.
Sonics pov:
"SONIC!" Tails snapped me out of my thoughts and I looked at him worriedly wondering if I messed anything up.
"I'm sorry Tails I didn't know it's just tha-" Tails cut me off while frowning"You're overthinking about the party aren't you?" my brother knows me too well, I just sighed and nodded and that made him walk towards me and put his hands on my shoulders while comforting which- really helped, I thank myself so much for finding Tails he's the best brother and best-friend I could ask for.
"Sonic, it's just a party there's no need to be overthinking plus, if you do mess up or forget something then it's alright you have started many other parties so what's the point of getting worked up over this one?" That just made all of my overthinking thoughts disappear in thin air and I hugged Tails tightly while saying "Thank you" and he just responded with "Your welcome" and hugged me back.
'Tails is right, I have hosted many parties and never overthink about everything like this one so what's the point? and I know my friends would forgive me if I did forget something so it's not that big of a deal'
After a while of conversation and talking me and Tails decided to head in for the night so we both walked to our rooms after saying and I opened my door while closing it and fell into my bed while grabbing my phone to text Shadow which, I forgot to this morning thanks to me wanted to get the entire room "ready" for the party, man why was I overthinking so much it's just a party.

I started to feel my body feel light and my eyes feel heavy so I texted Shadow goodnight and set my phone down on my tan desk and turned my lamp off and turned around my bed and curled up a little to get a little more comfortable while dozing off.
And in that very room, on a certain tan desk laid a blue phone case on a charger with a white lamp and a Shadow plush in front of it with a picture of sonic and shadow at the chao garden, and sonic had his chao in his lap while sitting crisscrossed and shadow was doing the same with his chao with a smile on both of their faces with their other hands touching each other to form a heart.
