My dear friend, a treasure true,
Whose heart is pure and kind anew.
With laughter bright and gentle care,
A friend like this is truly rare.

A steady hand in troubled times,
A light that shines and upward climbs.
Their smile, a beacon of hope and love,
A gentle dove, sent from above.

A friend who listens, always near,
And wipes away the falling tear.
A steady rock, an anchor strong,
With them, you'll never go wrong.

His love for life, infectious glee,
Brings light and warmth to you and me.
A friend like this, a true delight,
A shining star in darkest night.

My dear friend, you mean so much,
With you, the world's a brighter touch.
Forever grateful, I will be,
For your loving friendship, eternally
