i hadn't seen lyla since she was in the hospital. micah had been filling me in on what was happening and how she was feeling, but it's been exactly a week and i haven't actually seen her.

i've been trying to keep myself busing with conditioning and magui, but my mind keeps wandering back to her.

magui has constantly been asking me about her and how she's feeling, but i know she doesn't actually care, she just wants to know if i'm in contact with her.

and i'm not. we aren't friends. we are more like mutual friends or acquaintances. it's not like i'm close to her or anything and we've barely had a full conversation.

i also haven't heard from her ex. that nate guy. ever since we saw him at the party he's been super quiet and hasn't been in any comment sections or dms.

"hey babe!" magui calls from the kitchen, and i slide out of bed slowly to go help her with whatever it is. i trudge towards her and she's gives me a warm smile. "can you grab that pan for me please?"

i reach up towards the top shelf and grab the pan she is pointing at, placing it in front of her. "thank you." she smiles, her bright white teeth shining, and places a gentle kiss on my lips.

"dinner should be ready soon." she smiles and i wander back towards my room, immediately flopping back onto my bed and grabbing my phone.

i run a hand through my hair, immediatly telling myself it's a bad idea. magui is making dinner and what would i bring her anyways. i don't even know what she likes.

out of everyone why would he ask me. mason or nick could easily run by there but of course he asks me. i know it's a bad idea and there is no reason for me to go over there.

plus, magui would be mad and we already bicker enough, i don't need another stupid argument starting. why would i want to go over there anyways? i ultimately decide against it, knowing it's an idiotic idea.
