The next morning, Sunghoon didn’t wake up until late into the morning. By then, everyone but Heeseung and himself had already left and he could feel the tell-tale signs of his heat getting closer. His best guess was that it would be starting at some point around noon. He hoped he’d at least get to eat before it all went down.
After his late-night conversation with Heeseung, he’d fallen asleep so deeply he couldn’t remember when it happened and was completely lost as soon as he woke up. At first, he didn’t remember he had stayed in Heeseung’s room and was disoriented because of it. Then he got worried he had to get to work before remembering they had a couple of days off, thanks to his heat and Jungwon. They needed to seriously consider moving to an apartment that had rooms which would allow them to spend their cycles there.
He wanted to say he was calmer now than he had been during the night; to an extent, he was. Part of what he had potentially feared already couldn’t happen, since everyone had left already, so that helped. The twisting and warm sensation inside him told him he should not fear it being late either. While not completely out of worries, he trusted Heeseung would take care of everything else. He wanted to believe his words.
Heeseung made lunch for them and Sunghoon could tell that, behind the reassuring smile and tender gestures, Heeseung was just as scared as he was. They didn’t get to talk about it, though, as Sunghoon felt his body tensing and heating up a bite or two before he finished eating.
He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, stopping everything else he was doing to try and ground himself. He could handle it, for now, it wasn’t really bad and with Heeseung there he hoped for things to be easier than usual. He loved Heeseung and things would work out.
“Hyung,” he swallowed before speaking to control his voice. “We should go to your room.” He spoke with the intention of letting Heeseung know what was happening, what would happen. He doubted the others would appreciate them doing it over their dining table.
Confusing took over Heeseung for a second before he smelt Sunghoon’s scent getting sweeter and more potent. He quickly got the dishes into the sink and decided he could wash them later. Sunghoon almost laughed at Heeseung frantic state, it now seemed very evident he’d never been with an omega in heat.
“Don’t laugh at me,” Heeseung warned him with a pout. “I don’t want to fuck up…”
“Yeah, I know,” Sunghoon still laughed, but quietly. “Seeing you like this makes me feel better, thought,” he admitted, finally getting up and taking Heeseung’s hand.
“Let’s go?” Heeseung asked softly squeezing Sunghoon hand and walking towards the room. Sunghoon went easily.
Sunghoon laid down on the bed first, but pulled Heeseung with him. Now that the time had come, he felt a little silly. Not only for how much he worried the week before, but also for how fervently he had denied wanting to have sex with Heeseung at first. Feeling how Heeseung pushed for more proximity, how he wanted to bury himself against his scent gland, he actually laughed. How could he ever believe Heeseung didn’t like his scent?
He moaned silently as Heeseung became a little more aggressive in his need to scent and be scented. He loved the feeling of Heeseung’s skin against his, of his lips exploring all over his neck. He wanted to feel more. It didn’t help that he was starting to feel a tad too hot, he needed to take some of his clothes off immediately.
Blindly, he pushed Heeseung off himself and removed his t-shirt. Heeseung almost complained, but seeing what was happening he stayed quiet and patient. It seemed Sunghoon’s scent was affecting Heeseung more than he had expected, it almost seemed like he was in rut as well. Without thinking much, Sunghoon pulled Heeseung back in by the back of his head, pressing it against his neck. He wanted more of the previous sensations, needed to know just how much Heeseung loved his scent.
