"Noona, you tell him. I asked him a million times to go to hospital with me. But he doesn't wanna listen at all!"

Jimin complained to Hara with a pout. Damn. He was really good in acting. Why was he pursuing journalism anyway.

"Stop Chim. Hara, he's just overreacting. You know that right? It wasn't even that serious! I told you"

It was Hara's turn to reply. She had been silent for the whole time after asking about our health. I could sense something disastrous in her aura. What happened to her?

"Hara?"

I called her name again. But she didn't seem to notice.

"Haraaaa"

This time I shook her and she jolted up suddenly.

"Hara, is everything okay? You seem distant. And what are doing at my place at this hour? You didn't even inform me anything about your visit.."

When I opened the door, I was surprised to see Hara there. It was really late for her to come from her place to mine. She had a mask one, her hair was all over the place and she looked a little thinner than before.

She didn't reply anything still, only proceeded to take something out from her bag. It was unknown to me.

"What's that?"

It was Jimin's voice.

"A covid test kit"

"A what?"

I and Jimin asked in unison, confusion visible on our face.

I had no idea what she was talking about. I'd never heard of whatever this covid was before. I looked at Jimin to see if he had any idea about it. But to my disappointment, he just shrugged.

"Tata, you're to be tested. This virus, covid, has been going haywire. 9 people died at our hospital just in 1 day. It was to be treated like any normal virus before but now it's getting serious. News channels do not have the news yet. But I'm sure they'll find out soon..."

We looked at her shockingly. What was meant by that? Covid? It was killing people?

"Virus...I heard something about it on radio.. but I had no idea it's mass killing people now!?"

My throat felt dry even after gulping two glasses of water recently.

Jimin was silent now. He was shocked too.

"This virus.. it's more dangerous than we thought it was. The symptoms are very normal. Starting with fever, loss of appetite, losing smell and taste, cold then getting worse. Close to.. death"

I knew what she wanted to convey. I felt two pairs of eyes on me. And I could read their expression clearly, horror.

"You had fever for almost 3 weeks..Unchecked"

Jimin's voice shivered, almost coming out faintly.

"This one's contagious. Jimin, you've to get tested too."

This was not supposed to happen. Jimin seemed terrified after hearing Hara's words. Wasn't the supernova enough? Did we have to suffer this virus too?

Was this virus related to the supernova? Or Jungkook somehow? Was this the reason he suddenly disappeared because he knew already?

"Tata, come here"

She called me to sit beside to get the test done. I knew the cause of the symptoms but I wasn't sure if I got the virus or not. So, I let Hara do her work.

We all were relieved to see the results negative.

At least one of my results came out negative. I couldn't take another positive result anyway.

What if it was harmful for the baby too?!

"Thank God the results are negative. Otherwise you would have been quarantined"

Hara said, now removing the gloves and mask from her face.

She looked a lot less tensed than before. I knew she cared for me more than anything. She always prioritised me above everything. And I was thankful enough to get a sister like her.

She left to wash her hands. I looked at Jimin again only to find out he was already looking at me. I knew what he was thinking about. His uncle was still in the hospital. And with the current news of Hara, I'm sure he wasn't happy at all.

"I'll have to leave now. I need to go to the hospital tomorrow. I can't afford to keep him there if the situation is like this.."

Of course it wasn't a joke.

"I'll go with you-"

"It's fine, Tae. You shouldn't actually. With your current condition I don't think you should.."

My brows automatically knitted together.

"I'm fine now. Lemme help you, Chim. He's my uncle too"

No, I wasn't fine. Not with whatever was happening. But that didn't mean I'd let my best friend go alone when he needed me.

Jimin sighed. He knew I was stubborn and wouldn't let it go easily.

"Fine then. I'll call you tomorrow before leaving"

I smiled at him which he reciprocated faintly.

By this time, Hara came back to the living room and Jimin got up from the sofa to leave.

"Are you leaving already, Jimin?"

"Yes noona. It's almost 10.."

Hara nodded.

"I'm not interrupting your sleepover session right?"

Jimin quickly shook his head.

"No no, Noona. Not at all. I was visiting Tae."

Hara smiled at him and nodded.

"Okay then. Bye noona, bye Tae. See you later"

With that Jimin left.

"Tata, we need to talk"

I looked back at Hara. She had an unreadable expression however I could feel something was up. I could only hope I was not screwed yet.
