Where am I?

Why is it so dark here?

Why does it feel like a Deja Vu? Have I been here before?

"Taehyung"

I heard someone calling my name but no one was there in sight. I couldn't find the source of the faint light either.

"Taehyung"

The voice was evident. I tried to find the source in every direction but all in vain. I was in the middle of nowhere. I didn't even know if I was alive or dead.

"Who's calling my name?"

I tried asking this time. But no response came. What's going on?

"Taehyung"

I turned to see behind me, there was someone standing. Her face was visible even in the faint light. She had long black hair reaching upto her waist; a soft smile on face, looking at me straight. Who was she? I don't think I've ever seen her before.

"Who are you?"

I asked, but I wasn't sure if I'd get a reply or not. She looked not a single day over 20, around my age. But looks can be deceiving as I've learnt. She could be someone who was there to harm me. I didn't know her intention yet.

She smiled more if that's possible and started coming towards me. She stopped right in front of me. She had a white gown on and her skin was somehow glowing? How's that even possible? Was she ghost?

I wanted to run from there thinking she might be ghost and was there to kill me possibly. However she didn't look like she was about to kill me, rather her aura was quite calming. But my mind couldn't erase the thought of her being a threat.

"I'm Dongbaek. You might not know me but I know you, Taehyung. You're the saviour of Pulvis Stellae, the bearer of the offspring who's the key to end Jiahéng's tyranny."

It might have sounded creepy if I never knew her name. But I did. She was uncle's beloved and Gemma's grandmother as well. But she was here, right in front of me. She was beautiful, I wouldn't lie. But why was she here?

"You..I know you..but why are you here? What's this place?"

She smiled again. But this time it looked like she was smiling to hide the pain. Why?

"Taehyung"

I wanted to go back. To my family and friends. I didn't have a good feeling about being here.

"Your purpose of this life has been fulfilled. Now, you are to come with me."

I didn't like the way she phrased those words. What was she talking about?

"Where?"

She was for a moment and looked distracted. I wanted to take the opportunity to run from there. I wanted to be anywhere but here. But my limbs felt numb. I was glued to the place beneath.

"Far from here"

I was scared. I didn't want to drift away further from my comfort zone, from my roots. I was in search of adventures always, yes but at the end of the day I wanted to be in my place where I could snuggle inside the blankets with my people.

"But I'm scared.."

That's all I could say. I felt exhausted and dizzy. I didn't know what was I doing. Dongbaek was there to take me somewhere unknown, from where I could never return. I knew that.

"I know. We all were."

She smiled at me again, with such gentleness I could never imagine she could harm me or someone at all.

"We?"

She nodded. I didn't know who were she talking about. Who were this 'we'?

Then I saw it.

"Appa?"

Was it really my father standing there? And he was with..Jimin's father? He looked exactly like the picture on Jimin's room's wall! And there was another person..

"Eomma!"

My mother! She...she looked exactly like the picture I saw in our family album. She was.. beautiful. I felt tears brimming in my eyes. I wanted to hug her so bad. She was smiling at me too! Appa as well! I wanted run away from here before but now I wanted stop this moment forever just to be with them.

"Eomma..is that really you?"

All of them were smiling at me. I mirrored their action.

"Taehyung..my child.. I'm so proud of you my baby"

She told me. My mother was proud of me. What could I ask for more?

"You can stay with us forever now.. just like a family", my father told.

"Yes Taehyung..and I want to thank you for staying beside my son always. You've been a great friend..", it was Jimin's father.

I felt a hand on shoulder then. I turned to see Dongbaek still standing there with the beautiful smile on.

"It's time for you to reunite Taehyung"

"But..my family... my friends..."

"You've to leave them behind to start this new chapter dear"

"No..no I can't leave them!"

I couldn't just leave everyone behind! No way! No fucking way!

"No!"

"No!"

I jolted up from my slumber and found myself panting and sweating hard. Oh. It was all just a dream. But what did it mean?

The room I was in, wasn't a place I knew. It was rather strange. There was no windows or doors. The wall was painted white and black even the bed I was sleeping on. What was this place?

I tried to move but winced in pain. Wait! There was no bump there! There were..there were stitches like I've been operated.. that meant my baby...where was my baby? I remembered passing out after hearing Hara's voice. What happened after that? Where were others? Where on earth was I right now?

I tried to remember what actually happened but unfortunately nothing seemed to be in my mind.

"I see you're now awake darling"

I saw someone standing right beside me when I opened my eyes. Where did he come from? Who was he even? Was I dreaming again?

"W-who are you? Where am I?"

I scrutinized the place to get any hint but all in vain. There was nothing to understand where the place was.

"Good questions"

He was wearing glasses. I found it odd. The glasses were black and white too. But then he removed them. His eyes were in two colours! One eye was black and other one was white! My eyes widened. I felt scarcity of words..

"You may know me already. The name's Jiahéng and you're in my kingdom, honey"
