she was not feeling herself right now. she had an influx of opposing emotions the minute she needed time away from donghyuck. the feeling of regret and pitting displeasure. she didn't think it was fair for her to fall back in love again with him when he abandoned her. he left her when she needed him and didn't even bother to let her speak. why was she falling in love with him again?
he had to leave today due to his own personal life, which only meant she'd be alone in her thoughts again. it only meant that she'd have a harder time getting over him again. he made her fall in love all over again, and he was gonna leave after it. she fucking hated the feeling of being baited into an inescapable hole in the ground. it was so stupid. she hated how he made her feel. she hated that he disappeared and then came back all of a sudden. she hated him she hated him she hated him. she loved him.
peering out of her room, she could see the male sitting in the living room as he sifted through his bag. holding his jacket in her hands, she walked over and placed it on the counter next to him. "yujie?" he looked over to her and the jacket before smiling softly. "you don't have to give it back you know. just keep it, or do you want a different jacket? i think i brought a hoodie." he raised an eyebrow as he started to look through his bag.
widening her eyes, she went to stop him from doing so. "no no, it's yours. i shouldn't keep it." she shook her head in refusal. she didn't want to keep anything that reminded her of him while he's gone. she'll hang onto the little hope she still had for them. "here, take this then. take both actually. it's just two pieces of clothing. i'm not gonna miss it if you have it yujie." he pulled out one of his hoodies and placed both them in her arms.
"donghyuck.." she couldn't accept this. she felt like she'd fall in love again if she did. she already was, but this was testing something in her. "yujie. i don't want you to forgive me. because i don't deserve it. but i don't expect you to trust me all that much so quickly. so i want to make it up to you bit by bit until i know that i made you happy." he was so genuine and sweet that it made her feel all giddy in her stomach.
"you.. you make me so confused donghyuck." she muttered, feeling so miserable having to admit it. "how so?" she bit at her lip with hesitation. "why did you have to appear in my life like this. you were such an asshole, and now you're being so sweet. you're trying to make it up to me for no reason." his face showed such a sad smile. "because i messed up, and i realized that i didn't get over you. and that i'm still in love with you yujie." he admitted.
