Zoe stood there not sure what to do the wind blew making her dress dance around her. Zoe took a breath and repeated herself "Mom?" asked Zoe again. A nod came from the women "Yes, Zoe it's me" answered Athena. Zoe bit her lip and just stared at the women before her. "Zoe, I know you have questions and you will get answers soon I promise but our time is limited so please listen to me" said Athena calmly. Zoe just look at Athena and nodded "First you must know I and your father love and we are so proud of you" said Athena. "Dad? you have seen him?" asked Zoe tearfully. Athena smiled brightly "Yes, my little Owlet he is in the Elysian Fields I see him as often as I can and he is so proud of you and Tony you are his two greatest creations as he calls you" replied Athena with a smile. Tears begin to roll down Zoe's face which she quickly brushed aside. "Tell him I love him and I hope he understands about Bucky" said Zoe tearfully.

Athena smiled "Oh sweet girl he definitely understands that's one of the many reasons he's so proud of you and that big heart of yours, speaking of James, he is the reason why I am here" said Athena. Zoe tilted her head "What about Bucky?" asked Zoe. Athena just looked at Zoe "You are a guiding light to him to pull him out the darkness and he is an anchor to you to keep you grounded trust him Zoe" replied Athena. Zoe closed her eyes and sighed. "Zoe you must also help guide Steve he will need your help as well guide him back to the warrior I knew he could always be" said Athena. Zoe looked at her mother confused "Zoe there is a battle ahead and you and the other Avengers will need to band together you will be what is needed to knock out the darkness" said Athena firmly. "Mom what's the darkness is it Thanos or Ultron?" asked Zoe. Athena frowned "Zoe there are many parties at play some even I can't see but if you keep your mind and heart open you will able to find the strength and power you and the Avengers need" replied Athena firmly.

Zoe turn around to face the lake and stared at her reflection and it's rippling distortion. Athena walked up behind her "Zoe my time has nearly come to go remember what I have said but most of all remember I love you and will guide when I can and I am always watching over you" said Athena reach out to touch Zoe's cheek. "Will we ever meet real life not just a dream?" asked Zoe. Athena titled her head "There will be a time where we will be reunited and you will know everything but for now you must grow and learn some more" said Athena with a sad tone. The wind started to pick up more and a slight rain began to fall Zoe looked at Athena hesitating for just a moment before embracing her which Athena pulled her in tightly. Zoe was envelope in wonder scent of jasmine and vanilla and hint of peony. "I can't wait to meet you in person mom" whispered Zoe. Athena pulled back with tears forming in her eyes "Me too my sweet Owlet, stay strong" responded Athena placing a kiss on top of Zoe's forehead.

Zoe open her eyes to the morning sunshine peaking through the curtains an slightly dancing across her face. Zoe laid back sighing she still smelled the Jasmine and Vanilla around her which made her smile but also cry at the same time. Zoe brushed the tears from her eyes and sat up and moved off the bed she walked out her room to the bathroom down the hall. Turning on the faucet she splashed some water on her face she grabbed the hand towel near by to dry her face. She looked in the mirror seeing her face she did truly her mother's face but there was hints of her father there not just his eyes but his nose by slightly smaller and maybe his smile. She looked at the mirror and saw her parents both them in small ways. They were proud of her all her life she had always wanted to make her parents proud and to find out that she did make her birth parents proud truly did make her heart swell. Tears did begin to form bittersweet tears a mixture of sadness and joy in the same breath. Rain began to hit the windows snap Zoe back into reality she had to control her emotions. Taking deep a few deep breathes she was able to calm herself down. The rain outside lighten and a few minutes later stopped. Zoe looked out the bathroom window and the ground was wet and the sky was grey Zoe focused and the clouds moved soon the sky was blue and the sun soon shining brightly and a rainbow moved across the sky.

Zoe walked out of the bathroom only run into Nat with a look of concern on her face. "Hey Zoe are you okay? I saw the rain and it had me worried." questioned Nat. Zoe gave her a small small "Yeah I am fine, I just had a intense dream is all and it took me a minute to get my emotions in check is all" replied Zoe. Nat bit her lip "Do you want to talk about it cause there was some crazy weather last night?" asked Nat. Zoe nodded "Let's get some breakfast first I am starving and this is kinda of weird so food would be nice to have" replied Zoe.

Twenty minutes later they had a nice breakfast of blueberry French toast and eggs and bacon. "So little miss sunshine what kinda of dreams brought on the skies of gray last night?" asked Nat. Zoe took a couple of bites before answering "Umm my mom came to me in a dream last night" replied Zoe. Nat dropped her fork as she was about take a bite. "What?" snapped Nat with her eyes all wide in shock. Zoe sighed "My mom came to me in dream last night and told me so things that I don't quite understand" answered Zoe. Nat tilted her head "What did say Zoe anything big?" questioned Nat pressing her lips together. Zoe sighed and shook her head "Just that the Avengers and I need to work together for battles that are a head especially with the super soldiers" replied Zoe. 

Nat's eyebrow arched totally silently questioning Zoe. Zoe just shook her head "I am not sure Nat I asked about stuff I know but she wouldn't answer just said I was Bucky's light and he was my anchor" said Zoe shrugging her shoulder. Nat smirked "Sounds like mama is also trying to be the goddess of love not just wisdom" laughed Nat. Zoe blushed all red "No Nat not at all she was best friends with Bucky in the 40's and just wants him to get better and with the therapy and quiet here I think he do that is all" exasperated Zoe.

Nat just laughed "Zoe, Bucky is going take one look at you and fall I mean I have already caught him staring at a picture of you" laughed Nat. Zoe looked shocked "Nat... men who look like Bucky and Steve don't go for girls who look like me" snapped Zoe. Nat rolled her eyes "There is one thing that you are not like your brother and that is your not vain... but Zoe you are gorgeous. I know for a fact that a certain Captain has definitely looked and liked what he saw even though he doesn't want to admit but Zoe, Bucky was asking all sorts of questions about you and wanting meet you and Captain was getting a little annoyed by it all" said Nat. Zoe looked down blushing "He was just annoyed about the questions and Captain will always love Carter" said Zoe. Nat gave her a knowing look "I think it was more the interest in you and there might be a some competition for you affection" sassed Nat. "Oh Nat, Steve and I are just friends if you can call it that and as for me and Bucky will just be friends I mean.. I am just grateful to have friends in the first place growing up I really never did have friends thanks to my dear old sister and that's what I need to focus on." replied Zoe.

Nat was about to respond when she was interrupted by a knock on the door. Nat and Zoe looked at each other then door. The knock repeated "Zoe turn to Lucy just in case while I check" whispered Nat. Zoe silently acknowledged Nat and switch. Nat moved to the door but not before grabbing her gun. The door sounded for the third time Nat turned the knob slowly. Zoe stayed at the table try to at calm. The door opened Zoe hear some mumbling then Nat came into view gave her a nod to switch back. A few seconds later Steve came into view he looked around and saw her and smiled. "Hey Zoe long time no see" he said Zoe return the smile "Hi Cap, it's good to see you. Is Bucky with you?" she asked standing up. Steve nodded "Hey Buck are you here?" Steve asked turning his head down to the door. Zoe heard footsteps then Bucky came into view. Zoe saw a man with brown hair come into view Zoe looked into his steel blue eyes and it was like the whole world stopped. Her heart began to race and she gave him a small smile which he returned. There was a pull towards him she felt it in her soul. Like a part had been missing and all the questions she had through out her life were finally answered through those steel blue eyes.
